MemberOvomorphApr-05-2012 7:07 PMOk, those pieces, especially the last, look like they were done by an artist name Carlos Huante. The thing is, I'm looking right now to see whether those are old desgins of his. They look very familiar.
Btw, if you can't get Giger to do all your monsters, this Huante dude is not a bad choice. I don't like many film or video game artists, but he is one of my favorites.

MemberDeaconApr-05-2012 7:22 PMI thought they would work off Gigers artwork?
One of his images did look like the Eel thingy.
But these images above do look like the ones in Prometheus.
We only see the tail of the one that gets into the suit but if you look at the first worm picture the tail is the same and the second one does look like the tiny organism we see in Holloways Eye.
The last one we do see a simular look to the Xeno, but part of it looks like it could trace some DNA to a Squid like creature.

MemberOvomorphApr-05-2012 7:29 PMThose worm things are from an older project. The title for each one has Factor5 (a video game company) in it, as does a sheet of three minotaur-ish designs, some giant whale monsters, and other assorted large beasts, which I doubt would be in a sci-fi film like Promethues.

MemberOvomorphApr-05-2012 7:35 PMThose designs look like they were done by Wayne Barelowe a fantastic artist but I haven't heard about him being attached to Prometheus.

MemberDeaconApr-05-2012 7:38 PMNever heard of Carlos Huante but indeed looks like those images are off his site.
So i had a look and found some interesting ones i post here. Maybe its more than coinsidence these few above look like some of the Organisms in Prometheus can someone confirm he is working on the film if so then i think its a good posibility that at least the Worm things are near enough what we will see in the movie.

Squid one... now not saying its same as in movie but maybe the artwork is influence, note the feet do look simular to maybe the thing David pulls out of the ampoules?

This one looks a bit Space Jockey but its not the image is called F4 Doom and F4 Thing is Fantastic Fours Thing so thats maybe a new Dr Doom concept.

Indeed looking into his pictures they have tags, such as MIB for Men in Black Concepts.
But maybe not all is concept work gets used?
Factor 5 is a software games company that is no longer producing games.
Just checked and this qoute from him about Prometheus.
"As high as my expectations were, working with Ridley was better than I expected. He was focused on the design and what I was doing for the first 3 months. It was great!
I can't talk about the movie, but it was a great experience for me.
I don't know what they ended up using of mine in the end, but I was the only one designing the alien creatures at that time."
So as he is working on the movie and indeed the Worm Things do look a lot like the ones in Prometheus maybe indeed those concepts was used as a basis of the Worm Organisms in the movie.
Looking at his other works there is a lot of Squidy Looking and Tenticle designs.

MemberOvomorphApr-05-2012 7:47 PMI think the Factor 5 project was cancelled, since their last game I can remember was in the Star Wars universe, and it didn't have any of those creatures. So maybe he decided to re-use those worm designs for Prometheus.
edit: ah, Big Dave beat me to it. And if this guy is doing all the creature designs for Prometheus, that part of it is in good hands.

MemberOvomorphApr-06-2012 5:38 AMCarlos Huante is indeed doing concept art for this film. Thought most
here already knew? If those are the concepts for Prometheus wouldn't
they have been removed by now as they do on that hallowed and super-
intelligent, troll-infested mine of info IMDB?

MemberOvomorphApr-06-2012 8:50 AMThat first humanoid creature design was for Alien Hunter

MemberDeaconApr-06-2012 10:06 AMGood find.
That does look like the last image. So that concept is for Alien Hunter Movie 2003.
Does look every Alien mind, you would see that image above and say it does look Proto Xeno. But off course that seems to not be the case.
I do find the first two images of the Worms that that person sent me, they indeed do look very very simular to whats seen in the movie trailers and i would not rule out that those concepts are what the Organisms are based on.
They may look a little different, just how Gigers work looks a little different to what actually apears in Alien/Aliens but you can see the influence.
I dont think we have seen and wont see a detailed look at the Growing Organism in the trailers, maybe the most we see is whats seen with Squidy Baby scene and that Blue/Grey Tenticle that goes after Shaw.

MemberOvomorphJun-09-2012 9:25 AMCarlos huante, did do designs for Prometheus. But pretty sure none of them made it into the final film. Their we're also to British designers involved, Martin rezard & Ivan Manzella, pictured in the art of Prometheus , and credited as key creatures designers.
