MemberOvomorph12/31/2011yes everyone should think 4-5 times before opening a new thread ...too many threads make the forum impossible to follow ..we should also avoid anything not related to "prometheus" because that push back interesting threads in the "recent discussion" ( that i think is the main section in which we look first) ...
when a discussion disappear the "recent discussion" is usually forgotten very fast
i also suggest the owners to make the "recent discussions" space a bit more longer and make the "status updates" a bit more shorter imo

MemberOvomorph12/31/2011...At the same time if it has nothing to do with Prometheus, put it where it belongs...i.e. "Community Discussions", Discussions about "Memories Of" "Alien" and "Aliens", or just flat our new media for the Film itself in the "Media" section.
Also, you should run anything through the moderator via email at...
news@prometheus-movie.com that you think pertains to any new and not yet posted news item.
With regard to improvements or modifications to this web or any other matter you may feel needs attending to on the site just use the "Site News and Announcements" section.

MemberOvomorph12/31/2011if the subject is like 50 subjects ago, no body will look at that page again, and your idea will not get noticed, thats why people keep posting the same topic over and over.

MemberOvomorph12/31/2011so everyone who have a new idea open a new thread to be noticed ????? threads are not made to show a great idea ( that usually is not ) but to discuss togheter of an aspect ..if its a new idea it cant be "fiction" but must have some proofs so everyone can discuss about it ....

MemberOvomorph12/31/2011Well said @Biomechanic. And that's true; didn't we nominate a few members?

MemberOvomorph12/31/2011Congrats on the useless thread.
If you think this sit/forum is hard to navigate then I doubt you have much to add in the way of ideas. no offense. Bad threads get pushed back when they run their course.

MemberOvomorph12/31/2011in theory its not a bad idea, the problem is the way the site works, what it should do is the last post to be commented on goes back to the top of the list, so if i went and commented on the first thread ever, that thread will go back to the top of the list so people could see what i say, the way they have it now, if you were to post on the first thread nobody would see it unless somebody just randomly went back to look at it. who makes this site anyways? we should tell them to do that :D

MemberOvomorph12/31/2011ArchEtec ..it doesn't work in that way ..a new thread here push back an old one no matter how many posts or more recent posts or interest it have ...
