AdminEngineer07/23/2011So, aside from Prometheus, some of you may not already know that along side Prometheus for the summer of 2012 we will have a heavy batch of movie titan remakes, reboots and prequels!
Obviously we have the reboot of the Alien franchise with Prometheus. But we also can expect a remake of the classic "Conan The Barbarian" set for release August 2012, as well as "Total Recall". Also, we have a reboot of the Spider Man franchise; "The Amazing Spider-Man".
There are a few more I have not listed, but it looks like summer of 2012 will be one hell of a ride and will really test to see just how good Prometheus is and how it will stack up to these other reboots, remakes and prequels!
Hyped for: Alien: Romulus | Badlands (Predator 6) | Cloverfield 4

MemberOvomorph07/24/2011There can be only one Conan and Total Recall. I mean Conan the Barbarian (1982) and Total Recall (1990) with Arnie. A real classics. I don't understand why people are making remakes. Also I have never been keen on Spider-Man movies. Maybe because of Tobey Maguire. Sorry, but he cannot play any superhero:)

MemberOvomorph07/26/2011Don't forget The Hobbit (Part 1)! that's a prequel to Lord of The Rings.

MemberOvomorph07/28/2011Cant wait for the Thing, that was one of the best movies ever, soooooo ahead of its time.

MemberOvomorph07/28/2011The Thing is one of my fave's. Troubled to see what they do with the film as it could look too polished and fail miserably...
Apollo
MemberOvomorph07/29/2011Well they were very strict on the subject of the original, the director for this one said he is not going and does not want to use CGI, he was to use real live animation everywhere possible apart from one scene with the spaceshipunder the ice, i am sure I can live with that. Does look god though.

MemberOvomorph07/29/2011if thats the case then its good news. It needs to be shocking and tense, I just hope that they bring something else to the table and not just a retread of the original with different people.
