MemberCompsognathusMay-01-2013 10:08 AMI hate to be non optimistic, but I have a bad feeling this movie won't make it's due date. Mainly because they filmed at such a late start. If they started in April, they could have had a chance to film with the ILM designers designing and adding the dinosaurs in while they are still filming. Colin Trevorrow should move the date, I hate to not be optimistic, I still am, but I feel that this movie won't live to what we expect due to the short time schedule. It will be rushed, badly edited. If I were the director, I would make a smart move and push the date to 2015. Even though fans would be a bit upset, at least the film will be a bit more well done with better animatronics and cgi. The film would improve drastically and it will give the ILM crew more hours to work to make the cgi Dino's as realistic as possible and not look rushed like terra nova's dinosaurs. No offence but I would rather see a film pushed another year so that it will have at least be worth appreciated. If I want this film to be perfect and live up to the original I would definitely move the film another year. Same thing that happened to G.I Joe retaliation.

MemberCompsognathusMay-01-2013 3:08 PMWell, they'll move it if they have to.... we'll see how it plays out. I definitely don't want them to rush, but usually they'll move the date back if they're crunched for time.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexMay-01-2013 3:42 PMIt depends, if they do move it to 2015' then it better be an AMAZING movie. If it stays with the current date, it should still be a good movie. I could live if they pushed it back a week or two or a month.

No more tough, I have been waiting too damn long while Jurassic Park IV was in developmental hell to have the film be moved way back to 2015 after already giving us a release date. I am very positive that the new installment will be wonderful.
Besides, I would be extremely mortified if it were to be pushed that far back.
We aint outta here in ten minutes, we wont need no rocket to fly through space.

MemberCompsognathusMay-02-2013 12:43 AMI still think it'll be a good movie, if it's pushed a month or 2 back then that's ok with me but 2015? no way, I've been waiting long enough since 2003 when I first read about them developing it, first they said it was supposed to come out in 2005, then 2007, then 2009, after that they seemed to have scrapped it. Until now, which seems pretty official and I am really excited for it.

MemberCompsognathusMay-03-2013 6:09 PMNo way. They'd better get together and really work. I could live with it if they'd announced, back in January, that the movie would be out in 2015. But now that they announced it to next year already, that's exactly what I expect to get (a two-month delay would be acceptable, ok). I'll be really disappointed if they have to postpone it for another year.
