Principal photography on X-Men: Apocalypse, which began in April, ended in August/September (first and second unit respectively), but as is usually the case with big budget blockbuster movies the cast and crew are set to return to Montreal, Canada for reshoots in January, according to Le Journal de Montreal. Our source suggests that franchise star Hugh Jackman will also be present for the reshoots, suggesting that his reported cameo scenes are to be either reshot or expanded upon; Jackman announced earlier this year that the 2017 sequel to 2013's The Wolverine will be is last outing as the popular character that has made him a household name. There was no mention of Channing Tatum's involvement.

Co-star Evan Peters, whom played Pietro Maximoff AKA Quicksilver in last years X-Men: Days of Future Past will also be returning in the reportedly epic X-Men sequel. Speaking to Details the young star hinted at his characters story arc in the forthcoming movie...
Details: Is Apocalypse going to be the greatest X-Men movie of all?
Evan Peters: "Absolutely. It’s the biggest X-Men film. It’s about the apocalypse, so the scope of the film is huge."
Details: Just to clarify, since I recently interviewed Lauren Cohan from The Walking Dead: This movie is not about a zombie apocalypse, correct?
Evan Peters: "Ha! No, it’s not. Although that would be amazing if Apocalypse [the evil mutant] brought back the dead to help him take over the earth. I love zombies; I can’t get enough. But the story is that my character is searching for his father and wants to find him. It starts there and then he jumps on the X-Men train and gets sucked up in this whole Apocalypse madness: He tries to stop him from destroying the world."
Finally director Bryan Singer posted via social platforms Instagram and Twitter to announce that he is back in the editing room with the movies editor John Ottman and is working on the movies first teaser, which he reports is "coming soon."
