The tagline may be don't mess with Earth, but Independence Day: Resurgence's Alien Queen is not to be messed with either. The title of this new TV spot, "HUNT" suggests the Alien Queen is hunting for a specific target and given the previously released trailers, we believe her target is David Levinson (Jeff Goldblum). As shown in the latest TV spot, the Queen's sheer size is finally shown to scale - and she's BIG. Not only that, but we have also learned that her protective bio-suit (like all ID4 Aliens) contains a protective shield ability, similar to the ID4 attack ships. Jets seen raining fire down on the Queen seem to do no damage at all.

A quick cut-scene later, we see the Queen knocking Jets out of the sky and chasing after a school bus (likely the one transporting David Levinson and a bunch of children) across the Salt Flats. Check out the new TV spot as well as some exclusive new screenshots below! Be sure to also visit the Independence Day: Resurgence Image Gallery for more screenshots!

More about Independence Day: Resurgence (movie)

After Independence Day redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global catastrophe on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.

Directed by Roland Emmerich, Independence Day: Resurgence's release date is June 24th, 2016.
