Sony's next Venom sequel will see Tom Hardy return as the titular anti-hero once again but will see Kelly Marcel assume a directorial role rather than a writing role. It was revealed recently that Marcel would direct Venom 3 thanks to a report by Deadline. According to their report, Marcel and Tom Hardy will both be producing the film as well and that Kelly's vision for where Venom's story should evolve has been inline with what Hardy's vision from the start.
The official plot synopsis for Venom 3 is still unknown, along with info on any additional Marvel characters which might join in the next film, however as new details surface as production continues we will keep you posted!
Kelly Marcel is also responsible for penning the script for Venom 3.
Venom 3 is set to be the final chapter in the Venom trilogy.
