Director Alan Taylors hotly debated addition to the Terminator franchise, Terminator: Genesis is currently filming on location in New Orleans. There has been much talk over the movies alleged script featuring cross-over elements with the first two instalments - 1984's The Terminator and 1991's Terminator 2: Judgment Day, yet despite the fact that Dawn of the Planet of the Apes star Jason Clarke has been cast as an adult John Connor, there has been next to no mention of the movies possible Future War elements.
Yet it seems that some lucky soul, has been lucky enough to grab some on-location footage of what looks like Future War footage being shot for the movie. The set up of the scenes; such as the scattered debris, the crane-lifted spotlights, the combat pick-ups (AKA Technicals) and the purple pryotechnics look very similar to to BTS (behind the scenes) footage taken from the Future War scene in the second, classic movie.
