Despite rising Covid-19 cases across the globe, the third MCU Spider-Man movie is on track to earn between $150 - $180 million during its opening weekend, which would make it the most popular and highest earning opening weekend for a film since the pandemic began.

By comparison, No Way Home is also performing vastly better than Spider-Man: Homecoming did, which only earned $15.4 million during its preview night screenings.
