It's gonna be strange seeing a Marvel Cinematic Universe film with the Sony Pictures logo at the beginning, but that's what we're gonna get when Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters on July 7, 2017. Like the Marvel Netflix shows, the film will be set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although Disney are not directly involved.
Ahead of its release, Sony took to Twitter to debut three breathtaking new posters that show the wall-crawler enjoying life in the Big Apple. Because even heroes need to take some time off to relax.
Tom Holland stars as Spidey in the film, and will also be reprising the role in next year's Avengers: Infinity War. Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming also stars Michael Keaton, Robert Downey Jr., Donald Glover and Marisa Tomei.
