As much as we obviously love science-fiction, it gets a lot of flak from the scientific community because of how it bends the facts. Space battles are impossible because tight turns are impossible in space! Alien species would not have evolved into a basic humanoid size and appearance! You’ve heard it all before.
Well, to please the lovers of scientific accuracy, we now have Children of a Dead Earth, a new space combat simulator available on Steam which promises to be as accurate as possible regarding its premise.
And yeah, you could argue that there’s no fun in that, and part of the fun of space combat simulators is the epic scale of spectacle of the largely unrealistic battles, but hey, there’s a ton of other more fantastical space battle games out there, so let’s give Children of a Dead Earth an opportunity to shine.
