Ridley Scott to Produce HALO feature?
Production Weekly, a subscription based trade for film jobs, shared some interesting news with their January 14th issue. IGN movies editor noticed a listing for "Untitled Halo Project", and inquired publicly over Twitter. The exchange led to this information being shared (though the tweets have since been deleted):
Currently not much else is known, but it does lead questions on whether or not this has replaced the Steven Spielberg HALO TV series. Microsoft has a lot riding on the the TV/FILM sector, and has plans to launch something called "Xbox TV". It is unclear what exactly this service would entitle, and if the Ridley Scott project is planned to launch there, online or actually make it to theaters.
