The first toys from Star Wars: The Force Awakens are set to debut at San Diego Comic Con this July, giving fans a chance to snag some of the first pieces of merchandise from the highly anticipated seventh chapter of the Star Wars saga.
Now, thanks to our friends at Entertainment Weekly, we have a first glimpse at 3 of those toys from Lego, Hasbro and Mattel respectively.
While many more Star Wars figures will be announced as the December 18th release date for The Force Awakens approaches, today we get a look at some of the merchandise set to be based off the First Order Stormtroopers featured in the film.
Lego’s Buildable First Order Stormtrooper has 81 separate pieces that can be assembled into one 9-inch figure with posable limbs. It will be on display at the show, but fans will have to wait until January 1, 2016 to purchase their own. A life-sized First Order Stormtrooper, made completely out of Lego bricks, will also be present at the toy giant's booth at San Diego Comic Con.
Hasbro has finally answered the question if a 6" Black Series First Order Stormtrooper will be offered as an exclusive at the show - yes, it will! The 6" figure will be encased in special con exclusive packaging. This one will set you back $24.95 and will be available at the Hasbro booth at the show and, afterwards, at Hasbro Toy Shop.
And finally, joining Mattel's fleet of diecast Star Wars themed cars will be a new First Order Stormtrooper sportscar. This one will be showing up at the Mattel booth at Comic Con and is sure to look great alongside your Darth Vader speedster and Tusken Raider Scout!
Look for these great pieces to bow at San Diego Comic Con July 9-12.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives in theaters on December 18th.
