As can be imagined movie news has taken somewhat of a back seat across the net this week with this years E3 giving us a taste of whats in store for video gamers. While most of the titles being shown so far are a round up of the usual suspects expected every year, and at the launch of new consoles life we are bound to be in for some welcome surprises.
Mortal Kombat X, developed by Ed Boon's NetherRealm Studios, is slowly starting to look like on of those welcome surprises with the realease of the new gameplay trailer. The footage shows well rounded characters, both old and new, each with individuality; while the mechanics show a combination of weight, variety, combiniations and juggles - essentially taking the last game and bringing back elements from the much heralded third instalment.
Though its is early days yet, it is starting to look like, for a franchise that is over twenty years old, Mortal Kombat has finally started to grow up... at least in terms of gameplay.
