With over 100 million copies sold, it was only a matter of time before Minecraft hot the big screen. And now the film adaptation has finally been given a release date, as confirmed by Mojang themselves: May 24, 2019.
Rob McElhenney will direct, but other than that, we don't currently know much about the film, but as the release date tiptoes nearer and nearer, more details will slowly come to light.
