Although it seemed like the Marvel video game published by Activision would be lost forever after they lost the license when Disney purchased the comic publisher back in 2009, two more classics have now become available once again.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance was originally related in 2006 and was highly sought after by fans because it featured the entire library of big heroes and villains from the House of Ideas (save for the Hulk and the Punisher, as their video game rights were with THQ at the time). A sequel followed in 2009, which adapted the Civil War storyline long before this year’s Captain America movie.
Both games have now been rereleased in new HD editions on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, so if you’re a Marvel aficionado, you know what you’ll be playing this week.
