Despite the saying that "evil has many faces", it seems in comic books and in Hollywood movies the bad guys usually fall into one of three categories - the leader, the right hand and the henchman/woman. Take Star Wars: The Force Awakens for a topical example - Supreme Leader Snoke, the right hand of Kylo Ren and the henchman and woman General Hux and Captain Phasma.
In the comic book and cartoon lore of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the henchmen role was fulfilled by mutants Bebop (Warthog) and Rocksteady (Rhinoceros), the right hand role was fulfilled by the Shredder and the role of the leader was fulfilled by the Krang. Originating from Dimension X, Krang was a bodiless brain with a face and two tentacles that was transported around within a cybernetic body.
The previously released trailer confirmed that Bebop, Rocksteady and the Shredder are set to feature in this summers sequel to the controversial, yet commercially successful 2014 live action reboot, and now in his interview with Rolling Stone, the movies producer Michael Bay confirmed, indirectly, that Krang will also feature in the movie...
"He could have some tentacles. I just don't want them coming out of the side. He looks like a stupid octopus."
