The Wrap is currently reporting that Jay Hernandez is currently in Negotiations for 'Suicide Squad' in an as yet undefined role. The Wrap indicated that the exact specifications of the role were being kept under wraps, however they speculated that he may be playing the role of an inmate in the prison with the Joker. However, they indicated that was one of several possible roles that were open.
In addition, the Wrap officially reported that Joel Kinnaman had been selected to fill the previously vacant role of 'Rick Flagg'. This completes the main cast of Suicide Squad, and is an indication that the film is almost complete. In the comics, Rick Flagg is the leader of the Suicide Squad, and this piece of vital casting may be the final piece needed for the film to go.

It will be the third installment in the DCU after Dawn of Justice, and the first DC movie to be centered directly around villains. Shooting begins in april, after two months of pre-production in Toronto, Canada.
