Okay. First off this is speculative but I think this notion holds some truth. In the first trailer of Independence Day: Resurgence, we see a 4 cylinder ship floating in the ocean right next to Judd Hirsch's boat. As seen in the following two pictures.
So we know that smaller boat to the left of the big cargo cylinder ship is Julius Levinson's motor boat. Now take a look at this photo from the Super Bowl Commercial.
The same cargo ship next to Levinson's is the one crashing down from thousands of feet in the air from "Abu Dhabi to London". Could this mean just a few hundred yards away Levinson's boat too would be crashing onto the city of London? We can only assume so given that the boats are the same in both trailers.
From the Independence Day: Resurgence Livestream in June 2015, Judd Hirsch's story arc is him trying to reach David, while also staying alive. We can only wait and see if he succeeds in his mission with the release of Independence Day: Resurgence this coming June.
