The hype surrounding the upcoming Disney+ Star Wars series focused on Obi-Wan Kenobi continues to heat up and a recent development has fans really buzzing. Pictures of Hayden Christensen's Darth Vader have leaked online!
It is important to note that Christensen will not be returning to the series as Anakin Skywalker, but only as Darth Vader. So why the need for Christensen at all? The reason being is while the voice of Darth Vader will still be sound bites of James Earl Jones, the Kenobi series will be seeing various moments where Darth Vader has no mask on.
As the folks over at SWNN report, below is a look at never before seen concept art of Christensen's Darth Vader from the Kenobi series:
This is new and never before seen concept art of Darth Vader specifically made for the upcoming Disney Plus series Obi-Wan Kenobi. This image is not a render, it is exactly as it was provided. We can’t confirm whether this made it beyond the concept stage but with Hayden Christensen returning to play Vader it will actually be him this time around and not the mannequin used for Rogue One. And based on the next image, it is a very safe bet we’ll see him like this in the series.
Additional artwork was rendered based on photos which leaked from the Obi-Wan Kenobi set which include a Bacta Tank and the breathing apparatus used by Vader. Both can be seen in SWNN's original post.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series has been filming since April of this year and will stream its first episode on Disney+ next year!
