While Iron Man 3 wasn't the best comic book film, it was certainly one of the funnest! And one of the funnest things about Tony Stark's third solo film was the introduction of numerous suits of armor that appeared to help with the film's final battle! Now, one of those aforementioned suits is getting the Sixth Scale treatment by the team at Hot Toys - The Mark XXXIX (39) Starboost armor!
Since its introduction in the film, the Starboost armor has stood out to Iron Man fans across the globe. Its cool space like design with a mixture of white, gold and black colors have enabled this particular suit of armor to become a fan favorite amongst Marvelites near and far.
This amazing Sixth scale piece from Hot Toys and Sideshow is a must for any Iron Man display! It features some beautifully detailed, screen accurate armor sporting its trademark white, gold and black colors. The figure will also include two gold-colored face masks, LED light-up functions and a figure stand with flexible pillar for dynamic posing.
Currently, the figure is up for pre-order and expected to ship in November of this year! As with yesterday's look at the Fine Arts Juggernaut statue coming from Kotobukiya, while we here at Infinite Earths prefer DC Comics to anything Marvel, we must admit that this newly revealed Sixth Scale piece looks absolutely incredible! Hot Toys has hit another one out of the park with this figure, which is sure to be the centerpiece of any Hall of Armor display!
While we may have almost a year to wait for this one to become available, you can still enjoy the official images mirrored below, which will hopefully satisfy until the figure's eventual release. Though we seriously doubt it!
Until next time, Infinite Earths fans!
