If you're fed up of the grim and gritty live-action DC movies and want something a little more colourful (what is it with Zack Snyder's obsession with adding a sepia filter to all his movies?) then check out the delightful Comic-Con trailer for The Lego Batman Movie, which opens in theatres on February 10, 2017.
Directed by Robot Chicken veteran Chris McKay, and produced by The Lego Movie's Phil lord and Christopher Miller, The Lego Batman Movie sees the Dark Knight (Will Arnett) trying to save Gotham City from a hostile takeover by the Clown Prince of Crime himself, the Joker (Zach Galifianakis). It's unrelated to the previous straight-to-DVD Lego DC movies.
This may not be something that fans believed would ever actually happen, but next year, a cinemas will be full of laughter as a Batman movie plays.
