"My name is Alexander Polinsky! I'm an actor and musician. I have appeared in some awesome shows like Charles in Charge, Teen Titans, Teen Titans Go, Ben 10 and others. I grew up going to charity events that catered to kids in need but what I saw was a lot of rich people partying and wasting the charity's $$ at those same events with the actual needy kids nowhere to be seen!! So...What I want to do Is fund a direct humanitarian mission that creates joy and healing directly! No middleman, no big ceo fat-cats, no big charity balls! ; )
Mission #1 is simple: There are kids that are fighting for their lives right now! At Children's Hospital Los Angeles there are plenty. Their lives are hard, full of pain and fear and these kids are young...innocent.
They sit in bed and watch tv for hours.... and what do they watch? Cartoons!
These kids are sick, bored and scared and we can do something about it!! (But not just a handout or a clown performer, no!!!! )
I will mobilize a group of superstar Voice actors from some of todays most popular cartoons and raise enough money to buy the toys that are available of those actor's characters and bring them in at the same time.Toys, heroes, and the actors that voice them!!!! Its a grand slam of joy. For the actors, for the doctors, for the parents and especially the kids.
Lets make some seriously magic stuff happen!!! right?
