Next Tuesday will see the release of the X-Box One's first true Halo game with Halo 5: Guardians. As expected the game will be available in various editions, but for those of you with too much love for the Master Chief then the edition to get would be the highly prestige Collectors Edition of the game, which retails at $250. For your money you will of course get the game in an illustrious double steelbook, with all available launch day DLC's, a set of 8 dossier cards profiling each of the eight main Spartans from the game, a 3D printed foldout Guardian and the sets centrepiece, a large double statue of the Master Chief and Spartan Locke that also acts as bookends. For those of you fortunate to be getting your hands on Halo 5: Guardians when it releases next week beware, as is usually the case with most videogames released recently Halo 5 will have a patch available to download on its launch day next Tuesday. The update, which will patch the games multiplayer functionality weighs in at at a hefty 9gb.
Finally some Halo 5 news for Minecraft fans - Xbox 360 and Xbox One players whom have already purchased the Halo Mash Up Pack, which gives Minecraft a Halo themed world, a plethora of players skins, new music and a Halo themed texture pack, will be getting an update this coming Friday. This update will add the eight player skins to the pack, namely of the eight main Spartans from the game.
