He may not be anywhere near as big as Wolverine or Magneto, but one of Marvel's signature mutants is finally set to get his own ongoing comic series, so let's just hope it doesn't earn a chilly reception (sorry).
That's right, Iceman himself will finally be the star of his own self-titled series (insert more cold-related puns here), as confirmed via Twitter.
This also showcases Marvel's progressive attitude towards diversity, because just a few years ago it would have been unlikely for such a mainstream publisher to give a gay hero his very own series.
It's also great to see that Marvel are not abandoning the X-Men just yet, even though Disney seem to be doing everything they can to erase the fact that they were once the premier super team over at the House of Ideas.
No creators were announced for the Iceman series, but you can check out some awesome cover art below. #1 will be arriving in Spring 2017.
