It's about time that Deep Silver had let something surface as solid as a trailer. I was a huge fan of the original Dead Island and even more so with RipTide with the new content in brought to the plate. But judging from the new trailer, we're in for a hell of an Infection...
With a spring release set under it's belt, Sony revealed a teaser trailer to Deep Silver's sequel to Dead Island. Across all next gen platofrms, PS4, Xbox One and PC, again the Playstation users will be granted with a 30 day BETA access.
"Dead Island 2 features crazy, never-before-seen handcrafted weapons and over-the-top characters in taking players from the iconic Golden Gate to the celebrated beachfront boardwalk of southern California’s Venice Beach," Deep Silver explains."Developed in Unreal Engine 4 Dead Island 2 brings back its acclaimed, seamless multiplayer for up to eight players who cooperate, compete or simply coexist in a truly social, new-gen multiplayer experience. Dedicated classes offer a variety of gameplay: From the action-oriented berserker to the stealthy hunter, every character offers a different style of play. An in-depth skill system allows the player to handcraft their own heroes and weapons."
Deep Silver once again nail an absolutely eye opening trailer for Dead Island 2 with a hint of it's usual, dark, tongue in cheek, humour we're begining to get so used to when ever something drops from the Dead Island franchise.
Whether or not the story leads on from RipTide, where the survivors left the chaos of Banoi on a boat, seemingly all infected, is still to be revealed. Does the boat find its journey to the coasts of Southern California?
