Earlier this year, we reported on a story about Bond 24 beginning to cast a henchmen role for Bond 24. However Latino Review is reporting that Dave Bautista has been cast for this role. They report that he will be playing a character named 'Hinx' meant to be in the vein of classic bond villians. It fits the casting call we reported on earlier, with production looking for a physically imposing henchmen.

Our analysis of this is that it certainly does take advantage of Dave Bautista's star power. After having starred in 'Gaurdians of the Galaxy', he is well known among audiences as the alien superhero 'Drax'. He has well established his ability to play a strong man, one who will pose a physical match for Bond. Not only will it help his career, but it will certainly establish him as being able to play versatile characters as he will play a villanous role this time.
The moniker of 'Hinx' is most likely either a nickname used in the film, or a code name used during production. Both are likely, and a code name would enable production not to give away his real name during filming. While it remains to be seen, his description in the original casting call as an 'assasin' might indicate that he may not rely entirely on his physicality and also utilize stealth. Either way, Dave Bautista is an outstanding choice and I personally feel he is the best one for the job.
Bond 24 will be the fourth film for Daniel Craig in his role as James Bond. Previously having been in 'Casino Royale', 'Quantum of Solace', and most Recently, 'Skyfall'. Sam Mendes is confirmed to be returning to direct as well. The release date for Bond 24 is November 6, 2015 in the United States, and as of yet, it lacks a formal title.
