Breaking Bad and Godzilla (2014) star Bryan Cranston is apparently being considered for a major role in Justin Lin's Star Trek 3! Cranston is known for his impressive acting chops and memorable performances in both television and on the big screen. According to Film Divider, Cranston is being eyes for a major villain role in Star Trek 3 by stating: "Bryan Cranston-like, to the point that Cranston himself has had words with the studio about taking the role. We don’t know just yet if he said yes, or if this is an all-new character or somebody from continuity, but because they’re shooting for Cranston we at least know the filmmakers want to bring the intensity."
In addition to the news of Cranston's potential involvement, Film Divider also reports that the film will feature 3 lead female roles; one of which being the ex-wife to Dr. Leonard McCoy.
