In just two months time what looks set to be the ultimate Mad Max movie will hit theatres. While the first movie introduced us to our anti-hero and the tragedy that tore him from his somewhat idyllic life, many fans prefer the dirtier, more brutal chase / survival movie that is the 1981 sequel known as The Road Warrior, in which Max finds himsef helping a small community defend itself from a gang of marauding savages. It is no surprise then that after the universal critical acclaim the movie has recieved that creator, writer and director George Miller has decided to revisit the formula with his new instalment in the franchise; Mad Max: Fury Road. As if the recent trailers weren't evidence enough of the movies revival of The Road Warrior, these new images from the movie, courtesy of Total Film, really do showcase the brutal savagery of the forthcoming movie.
