Back in the mid 1990's a studio was using the Blade Runner spinner car for another production. While this was happening the Spinner car accidently came off a flatbed truck during transport.
It was re-built but all the broken pieces were sent to The Prop Store of London. The Prop Store had all sorts of things from the Spinner...broken wiring harnesses, metal plates ect...they also had the broken floor windows from the car.
It's actually documented that Riddley Scott sent the Spinner back to the shop to have the floor windows installed for Blade Runner. He knew the car had to fly and the pilots needed to see below.
They currently sit on top of my kitchen cupboards :)
This next pic was taken by myself at The EMP museum in Seattle. It boasts having a Spinner from Blade Runner hnging in its lobby. This is the underside of the car. The clear plexi glass windows have replaced the blue plexi glass windows...because the original blue windows sit on top of my kitchen cupboards :)
