After a hiatus from store shelves for the past five years, LEGO's much loved action figure sets known as BIONICLE are back, having been replaced over the past five years by the less popular and more generic Hero Factory. LEGO will soon be releasing a whole new range of BIONICLE to the shelves of your favorite toy stockists, alongside the moderately successful Hero Factory: Invasion from Below wave two line up (after all the two ranges are compatible).
This new BIONICLE line up features a breathtaking 13 sets to collect; thats 6 brand new Heroes (medium sized sets), 6 brand new Protectors (small sized sets) and 1 all new villain (medium-big sized set). Each Hero set looks set to also come with a golden variant of the sets mask, while it seems that all sets, barring the villains set, also includes an additional skull spider - the villain set looks to include a golden skull spider mask. We expect to discover that the Hero and Protectors of the same "element" will combine together to make a larger combi set, and possibly extra combinations between the six hero sets...
