When we think of Batman's sidekick Robin, AKA the boy wonder, we think of a young, teenage boy dressed in small red and green outfit with a yellow cape and black eye-mask; be it Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake or Damian Wayne. Yet in the comics, not all of the Robin's have been male; After Tim Drake stood down from the role his girlfriend, formerly known as the Spoiler, Stephanie Brown donned the iconic outfit, and in the epic Dark Knight Returns from comic book legend Frank Miller in the role of Robin was Carrie Kelley, the neglected daughter of former actvist stoner parents.

Today, WILX News 10 reporter Kirk Montgomery claims that an anonymous source (believed to be an extra from the movie) has informed him that the movies top secret script (compete with NDA – Non-Disclosure Agreement) includes a female Robin, with the reporter speculating that Hunger Games actress Jena Malone (pictured above) may be playing the role after having been spotted on location for the movie in Detroit. This would make sense considering the movies heavy inspiration from Millers aforementioned Dark Knight Returns comic.
