Adapted from the 'Southern Reach' trilogy saga by Jeff Vandermeer, Annihilation focuses on Natalie Portman's character, a biologist, who while on a research expedition tries to discover what happened to her husband after he returns ill from a previous expedition into Area X.
Directed by Alex Garland (Ex-Machina, 28 Days Later), Annihilation stars Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson, Tuva Novotny and Oscar Isaac and is set to release in theatres next February.
