Here's a story I'm planning on doing. If the project is green-lit by myself and other Scified users I'll make the story. Here's an prolouge/preview:
The water was as dark and cold as the ocean itself. It was a cool July night, and a couple of patrol boats piloted by marine biologists were doing a whale population count. The scientists find a few, but a couple couple more bear large, deep scars on their tains and undersides. Even a few dead whales were found. Nothing known to science could do this to species such as the humpback, which could sink a small boat with it's fins. Even the populations of dolphins (including orcas), sea turtles, mola molas, and even large sharks were delclining!
This case seemed impossible to solve. What could've did this? After an hour of research, the team heads home, only finding a couple dozen whales. Where could they all have gone? When going home, one patrol boat spotted a humpback whale sticking it's head out of the water. They get a bit closer, then see something long and red coming out of the whale. This isn't a whale, it's a whale carcass head!
A pair of large teeth were found inside of the carcass. A couple very small tooth fragments were found as well. The question remains: what could've done this. How could it be a shark if those are preyed on as well?!
What did you think? You can probably guess the mystery creature. Post your thoughts about this in the replies and Chapter One might be out soon.
