A Blade Runner TV series is currently in development for Amazon's Prime Video streaming platform! The show which will be titled Blade Runner 2099 is set 50 years after the events of Blade Runner 2049 and will see Shogun director Jonathan van Tulleken helm the first two episodes! The series will be connected to the established film timeline, taking place 80 years after the original Blade Runner. Ridley Scott will executive produce the show as well!

Little is known about the series beyond when it takes place. Cast and character details have yet to be revealed but filming is set to begin this April!
