Official Plot Synopsis
Outraged by the atomic tests in the ocean, the underground kingdom of Seatopia declares war on the surface world. Dr. Goro's robot invention, Jet Jaguar, is stolen by Seatopian agents to lead their monster, Megalon, on a campaign of vengeful destruction. When Dr. Goro regains control of Jet Jaguar he sends his robot to call on Godzilla for help. Together, Godzilla and Jet Jaguar take on Megalon and Gigan in a massive, tag-team battle.
Directed by Jun Fukuda, Godzilla vs. Megalon is a Toho movie based on a screenplay by Jun Fukuda, Takeshi Kimura, Shinichi Sekizawa.
