Read this article in the Guardian Newspaper..... QUOTE: William Monahan and John Sayles's screenplay opens with the dinosaurs, having escaped their island containment, arriving to wreak havoc in the good ol' US of A (having previously rampaged their way across central America). A new character named Nick Harris travels to The Lost World's Isla Nublar on a stealth mission for Richard Attenborough's John Hammond but, just when you think the same old storyline is about to pan out all over again, our hero is captured by security rangers working for the company that now owns the island, the Grendel Corporation, and transported to a secret facility in the Alps. Here's where it all goes cerebellum-twistingly nutty. It turns out that the firm has been illegally splicing dinosaur DNA with that of humans (and dogs) in order to create the ultimate intelligent fighting machines, capable of taking down the dinosaur menace. Yes, you read it right: faced with the imminent velociraptor- and T rex-inspired demise of human civilisation, Hollywood's answer is to up the ante by throwing cleverer dinosaurs into the mix to kill them. Harris is asked to train the five hybrid monstrosities, whom he names Achilles, Hector, Perseus, Orestes, and Spartacus. Head on over to the original script review if you haven't read it, because there's a whole lot more crazy talk going on. For those who don't have the time, the site's correspondent describes this quintet of monstrosities as: "A Dirty Dozen-style mercenary team of hyper-smart dinosaurs in body armour killing drug dealers and rescuing kidnapped children." It would be good for a movie but one thing must be changed and thats to not call it Jurassic Park IV.

Yeah I like the concept, but it does not feel good for a Jurassic Park movie.

LOL The Dino Hybrids Rises ahaha but honestly I glad that Jurassic Park is completely away from this premise, because for this type of film (and specifically for JP franchise and canon) is a horrible idea. Anyway this is not a bad idea for a Horror sci fi movie about monsters or something like the Kaiju style.

The whole hybrid dinos suck! ok i get the idea of smarter, but seriously! they cant change the style of the dinos, and really? help fight crime!? Its JURRASSIC PARK FOR PEETE SAKE! NOT LIKE A HERO AVENGERS MOVIE! ITS EXPOSE TO BE AN EPIC HORROR MOVIE! no some everyday CHEESEY movie thats basically happens for every movie. And dinos shouldn't have weapons! Thats the most stupidest thing ever! Their epicness is the by themselves. I would preferr the dinos starting to take over north america, come on, that would be awesomer than what they have planned, trying to recopy their childhood tv show. :p -feeling disappointed ALREADY!

^^ Agreed, I can say with some certainty that the Dinos in JP4 won't be using guns and there won't be any hybrids... however we may just see them take over north America if things go a certain way. I like to describe it as Jurassic World. Hammond's idea to put a park in every country accomplished by Biosyn; Dinosaurs mysteriously showing up on the mainland, like in the first book. It could be fairly obvious now that they may be leaning in this direction in a new way: a rise of the apes-like direction (by bringing in both the rise of the planet of the apes writers). Some of this old script shows that they really wanted to move away from the parks but I think one of the reasons this never went forward is that at some point they realized this would never work and you need to have some of the familiar elements from the series. On top of that we have some comments from a while back indicating that they still want to take things away from the park. These ideas definitely shouldn't have gone forward. They haven't gone forward because of an inability to balance the idea of taking it away from the park and having familiar elements that are true to the series. The new writers might just be able to make a massive dinosaur outbreak work for the new series if they've found a realistic approach to feed to the sequel of rise of the planet of the apes. They'd have to take out the hybrid/getting smarter idea, or at least tone it down. The new writers (and life) may have found a way to differentiate the new trilogy from the apes' sequel and what they planned to do with it. They can't use the getting smarter idea anymore... it'll be too similar to what's going on with the war of the Apes.

That has to be the worst idea I've heard in my life, it maybe good for a shit horror film that'll go straight to DVD/Blue Ray but Please,That is awefull!!!! Jurassic Park Lets take a look at that shall we, "Jurassic" the jurassic times were based in forests & Jungles. All three movies have been based in those surroundings, like it should be, & people have liked it that way so Keep it that way.

I agree, I would hate those new "things". Notice how there "things" instead of dinosaurs cause there not. I'd prefer the classic JP people fell in love with instead of taking a somewhat "modern" aproach because it's just going to ruin the movies and future ones also.

I remember seeing an article on Yahoo about this a couple months or so ago and i couldn't believe it. It's not a bad idea and it could most likely be a movie. But just don't involve JURASSIC PARK in it. It totally ruin the JP series in my opinion. It's about dinosaurs and it should stay that way. :)
