Finale of the INAIII build-up fights, enjoy.

In a forest, a coming-of-age Tyrannosaurus rex was on his first hunt. Tyrannos, fifty-two feet long and eighteen feet tall, looked up to Tyrance, the cousin of his father, Thunderstorm.

30 Days of Dinosaurs: T. rex reconstruction part 2 by CoelurosaurianArtist

Walking through a forest, he came across a herd of Edmontosaurus. They did not seem to notice them, and he singled out a female before charging, his jaws agape as he released a massive roar. He pursued the female hadrosaur, clamping down on her right leg. She bellowed, before smacking her tail into his face, disorienting him. Her sheer determination to escape allowed her to lose the rex--but it put her in critical overexertion, and she was shortly killed by a pack of Dakotaraptors.

Tyrannos, having failed, returned to his pack. He had assisted them on their hunts, but had never delivered the killing blow, and had been sent by Thunderstorm to kill something. His father cooed to him, sending him back to the hunting grounds once more.

Tyrannos walked through the forest, picking up the scent of the Edmontosaurus he had chased a few hours earlier. He came across the carcass of his prey item, which was being fought over by Dakotaraptors and Utahraptors. The dromaeosaurs took scraps of meat before fleeing, allowing the Tyrannosaurus to inspect the meal, disappointed. Most of the good parts, in the torso, had been taken by the raptors. He ate what he could, but it was not enough--and he returned to his family, having failed.

Tyrance chirped to his pack, including Tyrannos, that they would hunt as a group, but the young rex would have to deliver the killing blow. The two leaders, Tyrance and Tyria, led Thunderstorm, Earthquake, Tyrannos, Tyrannas, Tyrus, and Tyra through the forest. They came across their companions, a family of Albertosaurus, seeing that they had killed a pack of Gorgosaurus. The eight rex passed by, hiking for an hour before feeling the ground shake.

It was an Alamosaurus, an old one, and better yet--he was alone. The eight Tyrannosaurus hid in the bushes, before Tyrance cooed to them, giving the signal to charge. Tyrannas and her siblings flanked the sauropod, as Tyrannos looked for a vulnerable spot on the herbivore. Earthquake tore a piece of flesh out of the sauropod's leg before Thunderstorm bit on the same spot, sending the Alamosaurus into tremendous agony.

Tyrance grabbed the sauropod by the other forelimb of the herbivore, crushing it under 24,000 pounds of force. The Alamosaurus attempted to hobble away, but Tyria rammed into its crushed leg, knocking the animal to the ground. It bellowed, but suddenly, it was grabbed by another rex, who broke its neck under 20,000 pounds of pressure. It was Tyrannos, and he threw the dead prey item to the ground before bellowing in triumph; he had made his first kill.

Before they could eat, however, the ground began to rumble, as twelve Giganotosaurus arrived on the scene. Tyrance recognised the leader, Giganoctus, who was presumed dead after the battle against Ultimus Dominum. He had reassembled his pack, who had unknowingly survived the wrath of the Ultimus Rex--and recruited more Gigas. Now, the pack consisted of him, Longtooth, Gigantor, Gigabyte, Tornado, Wildfire (Tornado's mate), Gigannos (Tornado's son), and Gigannas (Gigannos's mate). The eight were backed by four subordinate Gigas. The two packs roared at each other, before charging like knights rallying into battle. The eight tyrants did battle with the twelve giants, with Tyrance charging directly for Giganoctus. The two leaders of their respective packs did battle in solo combat amidst the chaos.

The sounds of pain-filled bellows were heard by all, the smells of blood being drawn sniffed by all, repelling those in the area. Tyrus bit down on one of the infantry Gigas, breaking his neck before being ambushed by another of the infantry, who was smacked aside by the thrashing tail of the rex.

Thunderstorm struck at Tornado hatefully with his jaws, having remembered that Tornado killed his father in the Cretaceous. He ripped off the Giga's right arm, releasing a hiss of agonising pain. The two locked jaws, both beasts knocking each other into trees and rocks.

Earthquake did battle with Wildfire, who shoved her back near her mate, still locking jaws with Tornado. Wildfire charged at the female rex, who swung her head, smashing it into the Giga's crainum. She was sent stumbling into her mate, Tornado, ending his jaw-lock with Thunderstorm. The two rex stood shoulder-to-shoulder against the two Gigas, who bellowed.

Tyria joined Tyrance, and the two tag-teamed against Giganoctus, who bellowed, summoning his mate, Longtooth to his side. Meanwhile, Tyrus and Tyra slaughtered the infantry, dismembering them limb-from-limb. All of them were down, but suddenly, Gigabyte and Gigantor rammed into them, before rendering them unconscious with a stomp to their skulls.

Now, it was six rex versus eight Gigas, and it wasn't looking good for either pack. The sons of Thunderstorm and Tornado, Tyrannos and Gigannos, clambered and clashed in a one-on-one duel. Gigannos barked to Gigabyte and Gigantor, and the three Gigas took the rex together. Gigannos clamped down on Tyrannos's neck, while Gigantor bit down on his right leg, and Gigabyte grabbed his tail. However, neither of these stopped the rex for long, as he swung his powerful and muscular leg, shattering Gigabyte's lower jaw. He then stomped upon her skull, crushing it and killing her, before twirling Gigannos, sending him crashing into Gigantor. Tyrannos walked over to Gigantor and broke his neck under 22,000 pounds of force.

Wildfire hammered Earthquake with her skull, but she merely shook her head before biting onto the Giga's lower jaw and yanking her head back, pulling it off. She then bit down on what remained of the Giga's head, crushing it under 18,000 pounds of bite-force. Earthquake then charged towards Tornado, who knocked her unconscious with a tail to the face, then a clamp and a slam into a boulder. Thunderstorm was angered by this and latched onto Tornado's throat, shaking him in all directions. The rex dragged his rival over to a jagged rock, impaling it through his crotch. The Giga howled in pain before the rex grabbed him by the throat and ripped his head off; the same killing move he had used sixty-five million years ago. Thunderstorm went over to Earthquake, guarding her as she lay on the forest floor.

Elsewhere, the battle continued, as the tyrant Tyrannas battled the giant Gigannas. The two snapped their jaws at each-other, filling the air with horrible crunching sounds. Gigannas screeched in agony as both of her arms were pulled off in the same bite. Tyrannas threw the Giga's forelimbs into her face, distracting her. This allowed her to deliver the fatal bite to the neck, crushing her throat with ease. She then went to check on her siblings.

The Tyrant Queen dueled the Giant Queen, Tyria versus Longtooth. The two alphas circled each-other, before Longtooth opened her jaw and smashed it like an axe upon the rex's hips. The pain knocked the female rex to the ground, but as she collapsed, she swung her head up and clamped down on Longtooth's right arm, tearing it clean-off. Tyria almost immediately stood back up, sending Giganoctus's mate stumbling back. She knocked the Giga to the ground on her back, before stomping upon her throat as she roared in Longtooth's face. The pressure exerted by Tyria's powerful leg completely obliterated her neck, and it was reduced to a bloody mess of flesh and vertebrae smashed into fragments.

Tyrannos and Gigannos fought one-another, embodying the legacies of their fathers. However, each of the two combatants exceeded their parents in power, making for a more brutal fight. Gigannos was a wild, untamed beast; while most allosauroids used their jaws like hatchets, he used his like a saw, jerking his head back and forth as his serrated teeth reduced the flesh of Tyrannos to shreds. Gigannos pulverised Tyrannos's shoulder, as he put up his right arm in a useless attempt to get him to stop, and blood only flew onto his forelimb. The tyrant, propelled by a rush of rage-filled adrenaline, swung his head down before biting onto the giant's skull, his teeth carving deep gashes in the Giga's skull. Gigannos's screams of endless pain filled the sky, but were cut off as Tyrannos crushed his already-injured skull in his mighty jaws--the result of having a bite-force that can reach up to 22,000 pounds. However, he was terribly injured, and, after limping over to his mate and her siblings, collapsed--drained of energy.

The only animals still having enough strength to fight, Tyrance and Giganoctus, dueled in solo combat on the edge of a cliff. Like Gigannos, Giganoctus used his upper-jaw like a saw, putting Tyrance in immense pain. It reduced his will to none, and Giganoctus's teeth sawed his neck, causing him to collapse to the ground. However, he clambered to his feet, headbutting the Giga in the chest, before biting down at the perfect angle--crushing both of his arms. He opened and closed his jaws, the sounds of his jaws snapping shut drowned out only by the Giga's cries of pain. Tyrance reduced Giganoctus's arms to fragments, and spat out the bloody remains of the forelimbs. He then ducked his skull low and gripped the Giga's leg, before he sawed his back, causing him to collapse. It seemed like Giganoctus had the upper-hand, as the Tyrant King had fallen. However, he thought of his mother and father, Tyranoa and Tyranak - he could not die to the one who had killed his parents, NO! Tyrance regained his clamp around Giganoctus's right leg, biting it in-half instantly. The Giant King fell to the ground, bellowing all throughout, as the son of his nemesis clamped down on his neck--biting straight through the vertebrae, decapitating Giganoctus. Covered in blood, Tyrance roared with victory - and his pack responded, all of them, with their bellows.

Always good to see Giganoctus xD. He would be prevalent in a Tyranak prequel.

Good grief.
