PDBS2F10 (Finale): Tyrance vs Egypt

Yes, you read that correctly. I'm pitting Tyrannosaurus rex against Spinosaurus. This fight was requested by Emperor GorillaGodzilla. Anyway, this fight isn't a joke. I wrote this purely for fun. To make this fight as interesting as possible, I'm going to be taking the strongest specimen of each species. That means Tyrance will be fighting Egypt. Both dinosaurs have been featured in my fights enough so I don't have to introduce them.

Arena: Isla Nublar swamp

Without further ado...let them fight.

It was the middle of a drought. Tyrance had lost his territory due to a herbivore migration and now he was in a swamp.

Unbeknownst to the Tyrant King, this was the domain of another theropod - Egypt, a Spinosaurus aegyptiacus. As the T.rex bent down to take a drink, he failed to notice a large sail in the water. Suddenly, he heard a roar and looked up, seeing a Spinosaurus hissing at him. He turned to leave, when he heard footsteps behind him.

Tyrance turned around, but was met by a swipe to the face from the Egypt's claws. This was it, the fight was on as the two beasts stared each other down.

The T.rex rammed the Spinosaurus, pushing him back while roaring. The impact of a six-foot skull ramming into his side, along with his light build, resulted in Egypt suffering fractured ribs. He roared in pain as the Tyrant King bellowed at him.

The piscivore bellowed back as the two titans circled each other. The sun was burning hot as the Spino lashed out with his claws, slicing the rex's skin. This did not phase the Tyrant King, who headbutted his opponent in the chest before slamming him to the ground and nipping his snout. The Spinosaurus narrowly dodged, leaving only small scratches on his rostrum.

The piscivore attempted to bite the rex's head, but his weak bite force did not harm the tyrant.

He then clamped down on the T.rex's throat, using his hands in an attempt to snap the beast's neck.

Tyrance shook his opponent off and bit down on Egypt's skull as he threw him to the ground. However, the Spinosaurus reached up with one arm and slashed at the T.rex's face, neck, and shoulder.

The Spino clambered to his feet as his opponent crushed his leg underneath 15,000 pounds of pressure; not his max, but still devastating. The Tyrannosaurus rex roared as he charged at Egypt, who clamped down on his hip while Tyrance aimed for his foot.

The Tyrannosaurus then closed his jaws around the other dinosaur's neck, swinging him into a tree, which fell. The Spinosaurus roared in pain before cutting the rex's shoulder with his arm claws. Tyrance winced in pain as he released his grip on Egypt.

The Spinosaurus then opened his jaws as wide as he could before smashing his open mouth into the Tyrant King's flank. The Tyrannosaurus moaned in pain.

The Spinosaurus proceeded to push him back before taking a chunk out of his neck.

This did not phase the T.rex, who once again closed his jaws around the Spino's neck.

Suddenly, a crack of thunder was heard, then a flash of lightning. Both combatants felt small drops of rain, which were followed by huge buckets of water. As clouds began to cover the sun, the smaller dinosaurs and herbivores gathered to watch the fight. It soon became too dark to see anything, but this did not stop Tyrance and Egypt from fighting.

Another flash of lightning, and the T.rex could be seen crushing the Spinosaurus's left arm in his mighty jaws.

No other flashes of lightning were seen for the next few hours. Moans of pain were released by both combatants, then the battlefield fell silent. However, screaming was heard, but they were cut silent by a sickening crunch, followed by the sound of flesh ripping. Finally, the lightning flashed once more, revealing one beast standing over the other, whose decapitated head was in the jaws of his killer.

The one remaining beast vanished from visibility as the darkness took over, and more crunches were heard. These were followed by a loud, crashing thud.

The next morning, the sun rose over the battlegrounds, revealing both fighters laying down. Tyrance had huge gashes all over, several bite marks on his face and neck, and his right arm was torn off.

Egypt wasn't looking much better. His magnificent sail was torn to shreds, he was covered in bite marks, his leg was bitten in half, and his neck and head, which was missing its jaws, was near the T.rex's mouth. Suddenly, the Tyrant King struggled to his feet, slowly, painfully. Standing at his full height of 18 feet, he let out an earth-silencing roar as he placed his foot on the body of his lifeless opponent.
