MemberPraetorianFeb-06-2017 3:39 AMAlright guys this has sort of been bothering me for while. We know an egg can remain dormant for centuries, but once hatched home long does a facehugger live if it doesn't find a host?Would they grow to be larger? What exactly would they do?

MemberDeaconFeb-06-2017 7:17 AMI think SM may be able to answer this, i am sure i heard they can survive for like 5 days or something.
We dont know much about Biology yet, but i would liked to see my Cabbage Patch theory at play lol.... where the Organism with no Host could die and dis-solve into Material that a new Egg Forms from.

As far as I can remember, the WY Report suggests that the Facehugger can survive for up to 120 hours outside of the egg, without impregnation, although no longevity tests were performed.
Yay Dave, your CP theory definitely makes a lot of sense, it would be an appropriate addition to MORB biology! ;)
