how does david get the blood with no body?

A little mistake. David will mix the blood in the last scene by an already token blood sample called Shaw when he already got his Body again.

I personally think Nature Boy was just for the trailer. Having it in the opening of the film would be really jarring and awkward.

Yep trailer music rarely play in the film itself, at least from my experience.

One exception I can think of is Tron Legacy but then again that film was more like a long music video to the Daft Punk tracks of their album released approx at the same period .

More or less in line with Alien (and Prometheus), I think the film starts off to the sound of Goldsmith's classic Alien intro, and we get a first 5 minutes without dialogue as we get an exterior shot of the ship with a text message prompt describing its crew and mission, then the camera sweeps through the interiors of the ship only to end up in the cryo sleep rooms. 

The exception here being Walter who is up to God knows what.

Moments after, when in close proximity to the planet, the crew (main cast) wakes up.

That's my guess more or less.

Picture this..

Alien music starts.....

Year 2094

Location unknown

We starting to get a glance of the juggernaut... we are hearing someone whistling... and we hear some noises..hes doing something...what can it be....who is whistling?

Camera rolling...inside of juggernaut appears dark..silent just a whistler we geting closer...

Wee start to see a chamber ..we see someone chained...sedated...christ position...with tubes entering the belly...the legs are open..but you cant see much..the mechanism is in the middle....

David appears...handling black goo...inserting it in the mechanism...glancing what appears to be a woman...

He stops whistling....

The woman wakes up...shes scared...confused...suffering from slight pain but still sedated....

David " dr shaw? Are you alright?"

Shaw" david whats happening...what is this?where am i?"

David " you are where you wanted to be...where you need to be ,please excuse me im just doing what you told me " 

She perceives the irony..but she notices something, hes different..he looks evil,twisted by his ambition of being god.

Shes starts yelling, trying to move and to get out of there...

"David why are you doing this! Get me the fuck out of here now! Wtf is this!"

David turns on the mechanism...black goo starts being pumped to her ovaries, while she screems in agony...

David says , "sorry dr shaw the trick is not minding that it hurts , this will only take a second.."

Shaw " what are you doing to me ! David nooo !stop!"

David " dr shaw, you said that you wanted answers, but i do have questions too and you will help me discovering them,dont worry doctor you will have your answer soon as i will have mine "

Shaw is in total pain and changing..her skin is getting black veins...shes crying in pain..

David turns the other mechanism on...another fluid enters shaw belly from the right tubes...

He smiles...something is growing on her belly mutating its growing...its round shape..the machine is taking it off through the birth sin place we know but we cant see...

Shaw passes out...yewllin david

Scene catches david face....you can see the reflex of his eye...shaw is dead...and gutted..the egg can be seen through his iris reflection..

He shows emotion admiration

"beautifull, to create one must first destroy"

Paradise is glanced..scene cuts...alien covenant appears

Sounds a little bit like a couple days ago.........

DR.SWOJD - Your opinion is quite valid and valuable. However, perhaps you should frame it in a manner that is less confrontational.

This portion of your assertion is, in my opinion, rather personal in tone. Instead of directly addressing the individuals, you would be better served to explain your views of the situation and display how they differ to theirs. You seem very intelligent; a quality that is most excellent! Please, give others a chance by allowing them to give you a chance. :)

I think Swojd is trying to make a valid point as far as how they see the start.....  and indeed some of these ideas are likely well very likely not what we shall see..

Fun to speculate and give our own ideas for what would be nice to see though, and some interesting ones here...  and Tiago indeed i think something like that would have been very disturbing..... we have to think what have they now got planned for Shaw..... i fear we may only really know in the Prequel Book.

But then i think they could even leave it out of that, to a degree and gauge Fans reaction to AC... if Fox feel many fans started to pick bones because of not finding out about Shaw, or what David and Shaw found when they arrived.... i think Fox would maybe cater to them with more clues in the next installment

But if the majority of public who see the movie are like "yay Aliens Aliens and more Aliens... but sadly not enough Aliens.. not clear explanation for Alien and no Ripley"

then this could affect the next movie and maybe force them to make it even more Alieny... and so  from the Original idea to have a Prometheus sequel to steer away from Alien more... it could be a sad case that the prequels steer away from Prometheus more

If i expand upon your post Tiago... we have to think if they want a quick way to get away from Shaw and Engineers and think of a Lazy way to push this to the side...

Then i for one, think the most logical answer would be that David has acquired a great deal of information already by the time he gets to Paradise, and he would have more information on who these Engineers are, and what they was doing.  He may not know why we was created or who created the Engineers.

Maybe he can find out when he arrives at Paradise, especially if the place has seen a great Disaster and War etc and there is little or nothing left of the Engineers....

David would have free reign to explore a bit, while he keeps Shaw on Ice..... we dont need to see him doing this...  but have him wake Shaw up and then tell her those Engineers are gone, there is no one to give her answers but that David has managed to find out some of these answers.

If the Agenda and purpose for our creation or the Engineers and there role was very Sinister..... and related to Ritual Sacrifice to create something else.... i.e basically Xeno Hosts or similar... or some other horrid need... maybe like how Humans are used in the Matrix.

Then if this is the Agenda as far as David can tell, and Shaw wants to know the purpose... he could then the same as he did with Holloway... give Shaw her answers.... and by then showing her the reason we was created for... which involve experimenting on her or using her has a Host etc....  So through some horrific feat and intention that David attempts on her.. will in doing so give her at Face Value the Answers she wanted...

And so we was not created in some happy fashion that her believes tell her.... or indeed even just for the sake of it like Holloway said to David... (because we could) i would think the most BASIC route would be to connect to some horrific very Alien related Agenda...   as opposed to just for a experiment or to nurture and gain worship from like Shaws faith.

So maybe if we look at the Annunaki Tale.. where those Gods have a serving lower cast the Igigi who are tasked with Mining for Gold for the benefit of the Annunaki (use it as protection for their Atmosphere) The Igigi rebel against the toil.....  then Mankind is created to replace the Toil of the Igigi

If Prometheus goes for a similar route...

Where Engineers = Igigi

Where Annunaki = those who created the Engineers.

And the mining for Gold is replaced by a more Sinister Agenda/Purpose... i think this opens up a more simple route to bypass all the religious overtones... but while still keeping them in a supple context.

They could expand that maybe the Engineers/Igigi created Mankind to take up their burden... so they are free from this task... as opposed to the Annunaki creating Mankind to replace the rebellious Igigi in their objection to Toil..

Maybe which ever way they go from above... have it that a sect of either Igigi (especially if they overthrow their creators) or maybe even a sect of Annunaki... decide to rescue Mankind from this Toil....  and see more use for us than the limited use for such a Horrid Agenda...  and so they (be it sect of Igigi or Annunaki) either teach Mankind things a bit forbidden like Prometheus did... and in return expect us to worship them as Gods... which goes against the Will of the Hierarchy

Or maybe Mankind or earlier version was created on Paradise for the Sinister purpose.... but a rogue sect of Annunaki or Igigi (in relation to Engineers) takes either some of this Early Mankind to Earth to then free us from the Sinister Purpose... and in return expect to have us Worship them in return...

Or if the Mankind was a earlier version.... maybe take them to Earth and either Evolve them or even use Sacrificial Scene to create a sect to serve them....

We could find out in this role the Sacrificial Engineers, and Elders Scene are actually a Ancient version of Mankind who are on Paradise and similar size to Man and maybe the LV-223 Engineers are above them... or maybe even created by them like Mankind created David?

How the Space Jockey fits in... maybe just same race, maybe higher in the Hierarchy or the Gods at the Top.. maybe a variant of the LV-223 Engineers.... or maybe indeed via the LV-223 Engineers (or Sacrificial/Elder type on Paradise) breeding with Daughter of Man as in Genesis 6:4 maybe this could explain the Space Jockeys?  Maybe this could explain the Engineers (LV-223)

I think going this kind of route.... and at the top end was originally a sinister purpose...  involved in the chain of creation, would take us back to a more Alien environment and tone down the Mythos and Culture God/Religious tones... but not ignore them completely.

THE ABOVE... i feel would be the easiest way to by pass any whole Gods stuff and allow for a Sinister Plot that could connect to the Xenomorph or Origins more.... while not completely ignoring any back ground to how various Religions and Mythos could have started.

The above is what i think would be a simple way to go about it and its also something i am more driven to when i consider what the Source i had was hinting towards.

So Shaws Answers... are Mankind was used to Harvest something for some great purpose to who ever is at the Top of the Hierarchy.... or the Engineers was used to Harvest and they either created Mankind to replace them.... or the Hierarchy created Mankind to replace them..

At some point... some sect of Engineers or Hierarchy took pity and rescued some of Mankind from this Toil... and in return have us Worship them...... This was against the Hierarchy wishes and those who did this got Punished.

I think clues would be in this kind of ball park, but thats not to say its correct or maybe it could have been to a degree but who knows how they are changing it now..

But i think this kind of background route allows for a simple Cop Out of going into depth with the Engineers as Gods stuff... and offer a way to explain it to Shaw by simply showing her the Original intention for Mankind....

This then leaves us free to explore those in the Hierarchy and the sinister Agenda in future .. who ever they may be...

And have to remember... The Engineers came from Paradise... and Paradise is actually not where Gods come from... its merely a place in some contexts where they reserve a Place to Create and place a favored creation upon it.... (Mankind) but this could be a earlier Mankind or indeed Engineers are the 1st Generation of Mankind?

As far as what the movie will start as?

I will assume a Prologue about Davids creation, and Weyland talking to him about creation, about life/death the soul immortality and mortality.  David is Weylands attempt to cheat Mortality and (maybe his End Game would be if Weyland could find a way to Perfect his creation and then be able to transfer his own soul into David then Weyland would be Immortal...  and Weyland came to this conclusion he had failed to do this.. thus had to then rely on Faith and Shaw's Gods to grant him this Gift).

I think it will reveal that every David Prototype, Weyland transfers this David's (his Son) experiences and emotions onto the next Prototype... so the first David 2, then to the first David 3 etc... carrying along to when we get David 8... this is what makes David have more free will... its why David is Weylands Son... and its why David may have a Soul

I cant think how the next scene would be.... would it show where the Covenant was going... or just they are in space and get a signal that takes them to Paradise?  I think we would see the crew awaken and engage in some Banter and Chat so we can get to know the Characters a bit.

Then they set off down to Paradise.... and shortly after things start to go wrong...

Bigdave that sounds about right..i wonder how close are you..doesnt seem far fetched at all considering prometheus

I think your idea is pretty good, especially the David casually whistling while doing a gruesome deed. I think it would work better later in the movie. That level of a scene in the intro might be hard to top later on.

I think its  a case of time will tell, and exactly how much they have evolved and changed the back ground plot, as a lot has changed along the way.... starting from a broad idea that led to Spaights work, that evolved to Lindeloffs that became Prometheus that then had things cut out and edited... that geared up towards another certain take and change on the concepts behind the brain storming Ridley and Fox had sat down with Spaights.... to now something that seems ever changing.
