Space Jockey Fossil and an androids DNA

Good question... one covered a number of times to those points.

*First... it may be teased that David creates the Xenomorph, you can bet he has created something.... but the Xeno from Alien? I still think this is not the case.... Re-Create it... Indeed.

*Second.... using his DNA to get Bio-Mechanical Aspect is not a yet proven Fact... over on AVPGalaxy the majority believe a set of leaks that suggest its not the case, and are against the theory of Synthetic DNA  in the Xeno that we have discussed on here...

You can not deny that clues support a Davids DNA Xeno creation...  here are a few...

*Ridley Scott said in regards to David and Shaw, prior to any work on a sequel.... that they would indeed find beings, but they are not Gods, not in the traditional sense, and they are far from Benevolent.... BUT...... David is bringing Hell with him, what happens if the Black Goo infects... GOD or MACHINE.

*Ridley then in regards to the start of Covenant (prior to shooting etc) That David would be back in a WHOLE NEW way..  he has a really BIG IDEA in how David would return  (could meant Fassbender) and how he is found in once piece.

*In regards to Fassbender... he will return as David but also a Doppelganger (why not mention TWO Robots).

*The Synopsis had David listed as Synthetic.. when those who saw Prometheus would known he was... and if the other Fassbender Doppelganger was also a Robot... then why mention David as Synthetic?

Those TWO points for me point to David or the Doppelganger  are or will become.. Less Synthetic.

*Latter Ridley said we would find out who made the Xenomorph and WHY it was Bio-Mechanical in this movie.

*Latter still Ridley told us that the Doppelganger is Walter who is a More Advanced version of David... with more simple Programing as far as freedom...  he is a straight up robot..

So is David no longer a Robot?  has he Evolved himself? This is what i thought Prometheus was going to show prior to the trailers... but latter ones with Davids body proved that wrong.

Prometheus Fire and Stone... had a Synthetic Construct.. called Elden...  he was infected with the Black Goo and he changed into something New... and Godlike...

Synthetic Constructs are part Synthetic part Organic

Walter could be one of those... this is why he is more Advanced and why in the Synopsis David is referred to as Synthetic.... and also why Walter was referred to earlier as a Doppelganger

Having TWO Fassbender Characters is interesting and we see a interesting Dynamic there... but Walter would be a Thorn to Davids plans.... so he would have to some how get him on his side or dispose of him..

In theory.... a Synthetic Construct could get Face Hugged? it certainly can be mutated by the Black Goo...  a FACE HUGGED Synthetic Construct would then give us a Bio-Mechanical Outcome..

The ultimate end to a Game of Cat and Mouse...  where the ONE Advancement of Walter proves his Downfall...

This Logically works....

But maybe its too Logical and Straightforward... and so could be used as a Red Herring...

Besides... if Davids DNA or Walters leads to the Xenomorph... then the Space Jockey could not have been on LV-426 for thousands of years....

Onto the Space Jockey...

We have been shown it is a Space Suit, it also connects to the Engineer and fuses with their bodies (well underneath Pressure Suit.. which is like a Bio-Mechanical Centurion Power Suit from the Carton series).

The Pressure Suit becomes part of the wearers body... its like wearing Snake/Crocodile Skin Boots and Jacket and Trousers that then Bond to your skin as if just like the Snake wears it... or like a Gorilla Fur is to there body as opposed to a Fur Skin Coat on a Human.

Whats more... the Space Jockey suit looks like rubber... it has that Synthetic Look... but its also Organic....

What can look like Rubber and Organic?

Cactus Skin...

I am sure you have felt a Cactus? take away the spines and it feels like Rubber ish?  like Silicone  but its Organic.

What does a Dead Cactus Look like?

You could say that looks like a Fossil?

Bare that in mind and consider the Ships and Technology is Bio-Mechanical  (Giger said the Derelict Tech was Grown like a Plant in his opinion).

Then compare this photo.... this is my long running theory on the Bio-Tech in a Living State and Dead.

You wrote this before the We are Walter viral marketing came out. Excellent analysis Tiwaz.

Now, it looks like Walter may be constructed from DNA and that is how he may be affected by the black goo and can be a part of producing the biomechanical xenomorph due to Walter's unique makeup.

Indeed the Meet Walter Viral does seem to show some Organic Components but they could be Synthetic Created Components but we have to wander why would they need to have a Androids Brain look like a Human Brain even if its Synthetic and just to look like ours as far as Aesthetics.

Much like the David Model was made to look and act as Human as possible so that they would fit in and not look out of place... but as far as internal Organ looking components it makes no sense, as far as having a CPU Brain that is designed to look like a Organic Brain.

I mean if this was the case, then why not go further and dye the Liquid the Androids have so the Blood is Red too...

So it does leave the Possibility of being somewhat Organic and maybe a Synthetic Construct like Elden from Fire and Stone.    which is what i thought no soon as Fassbender was confirmed to be playing David and a Doppelganger to me a  DOPPLEGANGER is different and not the same, i would consider if David was playing TWO Androids then why not say he is playing TWO Robots but then the use of Doppelganger  could be applied to that.

But i pondered could it be something a bit different and indeed i was being led towards him being a Synthetic Construct like Elden and this could Tease (maybe Red Herring) how the Xeno gets its Bio-Mechanics as Ridley said this movie would show us how the Xeno is Bio-Mechanical

Then when we got details about the Name Walter and how Fassbender and Ridley said he is a more Advanced Model, yet he has more limitations we have to ask how is he Advanced?

*Better Construction as far as Materials used (lighter, stronger, more reliable or other benefits).

*Required less Maintenance, better Power Supply etc

*More Higher IQ, Better Brain/CPU but with coded limitations so it functions with more restraints than David models had.

The only other Option would also be more realistic as far as matching more closer Aesthetically to Humans, but how much more can David Models likeness and Skin and Hair be more Human?

Unless the New Models could Sweat like Humans and have Bad Breath, BO, etc... LOL

Then we finally got the Meet Walter Viral and indeed it seems his Construction Components internally are different more Advanced and also leaves the Question... are all these Components 100% Synthetic Material in the sense of Non-Organic...

Or indeed is Walter a Bio-Mechanical Synthetic Construct?

would programmed A.I biotek nanites be involved in maintaining such a construct?

"... why would they need to have a Androids Brain look like a Human Brain..." I'd wager out of necessity. The human brain is still the most "powerful computer" and the most flexible. One reason for that is its neuronal network-ish structure. Every unit can connect to any other unit in the system. Such connectivity can't be achieved with conventional means like silicium based systems. 

One can simulate a neuronal network but only to a certain extent. But the simulation itself needs processing power wich makes this concept suboptimal.

The movie Ex Machina had a similar approach. I think the androids brain was polymer based.

Hi Tiwaz. Here are reversed value images of Walter's torso before the skin is grown. It does look like internal scaffolding for potential hybrid synthetic/organic organs growth inside Walter.
