ALIEN COVENANT: The Covenant Ship

MemberDeaconDec-19-2016 6:05 PMI thought for my next installment of Alien Covenant discussions we could discuss the Ship.. As we know Steve Burg will be doing the main concept and designs just as he did with Prometheus.
And we know that the Covenant is more basic than Prometheus but its not quite as Technologically and Aesthetically basic as the Nostromo
I wander will Steve Burg, be giving us something Original or would he be re-using unused Prometheus Concepts like this one.
Or maybe take influence and re-design one of Ron Cobbs Designs for Alien the Leviathan
Or maybe even a Re-do of the Dark Star?
I will explain why in a bit.... but also Ron Cobbs Snark (Star Beast) looks similar in some ways to the Dark Star... pay attention to that like Pod on top.
Now on to some Ron Cobb Interiors..
Could we see some influences in AC?

We see that capsule on top.... seems Danny McBride is in similar.
This is no Bridge, its more of a capsule pilot compartment or even maybe similar to this.
When i look at the first Ron Cobb interior shot in previous post it reminds me a bit of this..

so i wander if they would re-design previous un-used designs and concepts in the past?
Certainly looks like the Ship could have a Mother Ship and Lander judging by the Set Photos and also leaked Cargo Bay.

I was thinking, could the COVENANT consist of several ships? Since it is a colony craft with actual couples, maybe it'll be like five ships that are connected ;)

One a Drop Ship that i think maybe could be a re-design of the Snark maybe?
The Mother Ship maybe a larger version of this

A Mothership....
A Lander (think up to Prometheus size)
A Drop Ship maybe up to the size of the UD-4L Cheyenne Dropship from Aliens.
Maybe similar but larger than this? That would carry 4-6 people tops... Think like Star Trek Shuttles....
