Tyrants chapter 8: The Battle of Taghia-Sakhra

Chapter 8: The Last Battle of Peace

Tyranak snarled and bellowed at his nine opponents, the acrocanthosaurus pack known as “Spinocs”.  These beasts were known around North-America as usurpers, and thieves. Little did they know that they were to be usurped.

The acrocanthosaurus leader, Acranthic, bellowed to Tyranak and his pack, and Tyranak did the same. The original dominating T.rex were usurped by these acrocanthosaurus, they killed everyone, Tyranak began to wonder if his pack would be any different. He had to be strong, he had to be a leader to his pack, even if he himself was frightened, and with this courage Tyranak bellowed a Tyrannical bellow, and his whole pack did the same.

Acranthic also bellowed and bared his claws, before him and his whole pack charged the usurping Tyrannosaurs. The battle began with a swift bite to the jugular vein. Tyranak charged Acranthic and clamped onto his neck with full force, sending the current apex-leader into shock. Tyranoa bellowed and rammed into one of the acrocanthosaurus, she used her incredible bite-force on the spine of the beast, but it was to no avail as the being inched out easily and clawed her neck with it’s hand. Tyranoa backed up, but immediately charged and knocked over the theropod, but it’s pain wasn’t over yet, as she swung her massive neck down bellowing all throughout, and broke the neck of the beast.

Tyranak did battle with Acranthic, he used his un-matched teeth and skillfully clawed, not bit, Acranthic’s eye. Tyrance saw all of this, especially the use of Tyranak’s teeth, he would use that in his battles. All of the T.rex and acrocanthosaurus did battle, with one of the acrocanthosaurus knocking a T.rex off the cliff. Tyranak turned away from his fight, and bellowed with fear as one of his members was knocked over the cliff.

He couldn’t do anything about it at this time, except he ordered the T.rex who was guarding the juveniles to check on him. The Tyrannosaur moved over to the defeated warrior, his leg was broken, and his jaw was too. Even though all of these crucial body-parts were broken, he still got up with his good leg, and clambered up to the cliff to do battle again.

Acranthic grabbed onto Tyranak with his jaw and stabbed his jagged teeth into the Tyrant King’s shoulder; Tyranoa killed another Acrocanthosaurus, she stopped for a second to take a breather and watched the battle, all the Tyrannosaurs were fighting certain acrocanthosaurus, some were ganging on some, as the acrocanthosaurus numbers dwindled. Tyranoa turned back to make sure the children were okay, she was pleased with what she saw, they were all watching the fight.

Tyranoa turned her head around to see Tyranak battling Acranthic, the Tyrant King clamped onto the leg of Acranthic, and broke it easily under twenty-thousand pounds of bite. Acranthic bellowed in pain, only four acrocanthosaurus remained, compared to the ten rex. Acranthic bellowed for one of his subjects to aid him in battle.

The remaining three acrocanthosaurus stood their ground against eight rex, this battle wasn’t going to last much longer. Acranthic’s right hand man, Acrano, trembled over to guard his king, Acrano hadn’t taken any damage from battle. Tyranak was weakened from battle, and didn’t believe he could take on a healthy acrocanthosaurus.

Acrano charged Tyranak, but to Acrano’s misfortune Tyranoa charged through a rock, clamped, and rammed Acrano through a boulder. Tyranak collapsed to his knees, but using his extremely powerful leg muscles he clambered back to his feet. Acranthic used his one good leg to stand up, the two kings faced each-other. Tyranak bellowed his Tyrannosaurus bellow, and Acranthic bellowed back.

The T.rex with the broken leg and jaw did battle with one of the three acrocanthosaurus. They were both weakened, but the rex did his best to survive, clamping and knocking over the acrocanthosaurus. The rex was lucky, he had seven other rex on the ready to help, but they were caught up battling two acrocanthosaurus, even though they were winning, it wasn’t easy.

The weakened rex knocked over the acrocanthosaurus. Believing it to be dead, he let his guard down, but like a strike of lightning, the beast got back up and with it’s last jolt of power clamped onto the neck of the already battered and beaten rex. The Tyrannosaur knew he couldn’t take anymore damage, he bellowed in Tyrannosaur language what could be described as “You’re coming with me”. The rex twisted it’s body around and threw both of them off the cliff, killing them both.

The two acrocanthosaurus began to realize that the rex were toying with them, but it was too late, as the Tyrants charged and easily broke the neck of the remaining two rex; Tyranoa did battle with Acrano, the right hand man of Acranthic was hopeless in defeating the Queen of the Tyrants, who with perfect skill clamped underneath he neck of Acrano and broke it under seventeen-thousand pounds of pressure.

Only one acrocanthosaurus remained, and Tyranak did fierce battle with him. Acranthic could do nothing as Tyranak clamped down and tore off large chunks of his spine. The Tyrant King finally rammed into the usurper, who lied on the ground in agony. Tyranak raised his body up as the sun’s light gleamed down on him, making him look near-golden. This frightened Acranthic, but his pain wasn’t even over, as Tyranak lifted his massive theropod foot up and stabbed his three claws into the body of Acranthic. The usurper could barely even bellow, all that came out was a minor whimper.

Tyranak’s subjects gathered around, bloodied and beaten, to see Tyranak finally end the acrocanthosaurus. The Tyrant King still was cast in a golden light, he stared down at the beaten Acranthic, and with amazing speeds, swung his neck down and clamped onto the nearly broken neck of Acranthic, and broke it with his massive, mighty jaw.

Tyranak dropped the body of Acranthic, blood streamed and fell down the Tyrant King just as it did his subjects. The pinnacle of Taghia-Sakhra, the name of the cliff they were on, was a jagged spike pointed like a bridge. Tyranak stared at his subjects, who nodded in approval at what he was about to do. Tyranak used his massive jaw muscles, and lifted up the body of Acranthic.

He carried the body to the pinnacle of the cliff. He dropped it down at the very peak, and bellowed the biggest bellow he possibly could. All of the herbivores in all of Dhahabi’ard heard this, and instantly knew that there was a new apex, a new ruler. All of the T.rex including Tyrance and his siblings bellowed, saluting their king. Tyranak then proceeded to, as blood dripped down his massive claws, kick off the body of Acranthic, to which it fell into the river.

The war had ended. Tyrance and his siblings stepped onto the cliff for the truly first time, and they instantly loved it. The sun gleamed down on the land, and the air was cool, as for the first time, the T.rex lied down to rest.
