I recently noticed they were looking a bit glum after being displayed in my living room for several years. So I researched the best (and safest)ways to clean brass.
First you have to check if its "real" brass or brass coated using a magnet. If the magnet doesn't stick then its solid brass.
The Tyrell Panels are solid brass !! :)
The way I chose(and safest)after researching was to gently wash in warm water with dish washing liquid(in this case Sunlight) and a soft sponge. My research told me you don't want to use anything with bleach or chlorine in it but dish washing liquid was fine.
After rinsing and drying polish with Olive Oil using a soft cloth.
So here they are again after a little buffing up. I've learned how to use my macro setting on my camera so I've included some close ups of the detail.
