AdminEngineerSep-01-2013 3:24 PMA couple weeks back I launched a contest to encourage fans to submit some really thought-provoking plot ideas for the follow-up to Ridley Scott's [b]Prometheus[/b]. We already know Fox has a writer lined up for Prometheus 2, but this was meant to be for fun and to see the different kinds of ideas fans have circulating in their heads. What makes [b]Prometheus[/b] so great is the diverse interpretations of the film's concepts. Everyone experienced it a little differently and everyone has unique ideas on how the next one will turn out. Basically - did you spend time on this idea or just jotted down random thoughts.

I was working on my own plot idea, but i have been very busy and i will have to read some of those other ideas....
I suppose i could have roughly just made the points of my idea....
But not gone full detail, as trust me and you all know, it would been a Essay and a Half lol...
A lot of my ideas of my plot i have touched upon in different posts, and it was one that the movie would left off with a escape Engineer unknown to Shaw and David..
And leaves with Shaw and David off to LV 223 to destroy everything on that World so no one can get hands on it...
But unknown to them Weyland send off a mission to discover the disappearance of Prometheus... So sets up Part 3 for a journey back to LV 223, where more misfortunes will befell the Weyland Corp.
My Part 3 would have to end with LV 223 Destroyed, and Weyland Industries in shambles with nothing left to find... but Yutani would force a merger and have a board meeting about sending a Cargo Ship to investigate the only remiments left of the Engineers...
A signal from a moon near by star system to Lv 223... a signal coming from LV 426 and they have dispatched a covert Android Ash on board the Cargo Ship Nostromo

I never posted becauise my theories needs a lot of work and has to tie in closely with what is seen in the movies p1 - a1 (dc).

There's still many contests I can run for Prometheus 2, I've got a ton of Prometheus posters still waiting to be given away, along with some of the 12:01 IMAX limited edition prints. I'll be running more contests soon, so make sure you get your ideas posted! Aside from being eligible for our next giveaways, I too would like to read them. :)
As usual, I wish we could have more winners per contest, because reading through all of the entries was a lot of fun and so many members really put in a lot of time and good ideas to their topics. I really urge everyone reading over the other entries as well, as each one brings something new to the table.
I also haven't forgotten about our "Design the Adult Deacon" contest, which (until I run out of Prometheus merchandise) has no end date. I will be rebooting and promoting that contest again shortly to those artistic members reading this as well.
I look forward to reading and seeing everyone's creative posts and creations in the coming weeks! And once gain - congrats to the winners of this contest. Thanks to everyone for putting in so much effort into your ideas, it was really neat reading through all of your entries!
