Welcome back Custodian! Trust you had an enjoyable break? I've been busy, but not with anything important, nor as exciting as a novel! :-) So long as the franchise gives us something exciting, new & fresh, I really don't mind. Dark & unsettling would be good though!!

Welcome Back.... Where would i like it to go, well i covered in in recent posts and if i went in detail it be another Essay.... I would say that the movie has to allow these things to be explained and come to pass.... 1) Shaw and David go to Paradise and they do find something, some remiments of a Engineer and Elder culture or there creators at the very least. 2) Shaw gets some answers only they are not what she would like to hear, she would to a degree find out why we was created, if we are alone or if the Engineers seeded other places, and maybe she finds out or David gets another clues to tell Shaw potentially why we was to be destroyed, maybe not in major detail so to leave some Ambiguity. Also who created the Engineers/Elders and why and when to a degree... 3) That either by the end of Paradise, or a 3rd movie set on LV 223 we finally find out more to Why/When and How LV 223 was set up and why the Head Statue and some clues to why the Star Maps and some idea of past Engineer visits to Ancient Man... And that also by then we find out why it became a Bio Weapons Lap and Storage Facility, why that purpose and when and was it always intended as such? 4) The Franchise has to give us some more clues to the Xeno, and its connection with the Urns and Murals, it does not have to be Xeno fest or Spoon Fed, just enough clues to show that the Organism either came before the Urn Goo, or came from it or other experiemnts and if the Xeno was created by the Engineers etc, or was found by them, or worshiped by them or a experiment created from something else they came across.. 5) Lose ends need tying up, we have to wonder why no Engineers from Paradise etc came back to Earth, and for what reason they did not, that surely after David and Shaw turn up at their Door Step why they have not gone to find us after... Does David and Shaws journey take over 100 years or so long that by the time they are there Alien Resurrection has past or if not then the distances is so far that no Man made or Android made Tech can ever get there not in less than hundreds of years. And if so that well after Paradise David unleashes Hell on the Engineers or what ever is on Paradise... effectually wiping them out or near all of them so that they never can or never choose to interfere in Mankind again.. 6) LV 223 lose end... again why send Nostramo to LV 426 as Ash knew something about whats going on? Why when LV 223 would still have many more riches to be had. Why not find out what happened to Prometheus? a Investigating Recovery mission..? Oh because Shaw warn them about the place.... well if a decoded Alien Warning and some idea of a Specimen to be had that surely the Alien Ship warned about, did not deter Weyland Yutani, do you think Shaws SOS will prevent them from going to LV 223? I think we need to tie up that with the eventual destruction of LV 223 at the hands of Shaw and David after they finish with Paradise... but in a 3rd movie that can bring about Weyland mission and lead to why eventually Weyland and Yutani merged. And leave that the only thing left to salvage of these Engineers Tech and Weapons is on LV 426, despite the risk its all that remains by the time of Alien.... 7) Weyland Yutani, and how and why the two rival companies became one........ Thats should conclude the Franchise, we can still have Mystery we dont need to know about the Space Jockey as enough clues would be made to roughly know so we dont have to see the Derelict crash etc...... We dont have to be spoon fed a every thing about the fall of LV 223 we need a little but still not everything.... Ridley or Fox can still then explore the Xeno, and or Engineers in a separate movie that is set many many light years from Earth far on another side of the Galaxy that Mankind Ships will never be able to reach.... Or indeed explore Engineers in another movie set thousands or millions of years ago......
