Everyone seems so eager to get to the Engineer home world. I say wait till part three. I say you set a tone similar to Aliens Part one (trapped and no where to go). While on the ship Elizabeth discovers that in all honesty there is NOTHING special about earth or its inhabitants (leading to some questioning of her faith). The TRUTH is that The Engineers plant seeds of humanoid races all over the universe. We like a number of other planets throughout the universe are nothing more than future harvest fields to plant Alien colonies (for a yet undisclosed reason). While on the ship Elizabeth discovers (lets say five) other alien humanoids frozen and saved for experimentation and then impregnation. She releases them out of pity and a wonder that they might hold answers to the questions she holds (we'll assume they all have an interesting story and look to them). David who we'll assume is hooked up to the ship to navigate it to the home-world (and who we all know loves the Alien race), finds a way to open a few of those canisters so as to free the Aliens (and now things get interesting). I know it sounds a little like Aliens four (but i think this story line could be made a million times better than Aliens 4, if done right). The movie ends with the ship coming slowly upon the Engineer Home world. Inside the ship Elizabeth brings with her a horde of Aliens (that may or may not destroy the very beings she has waited so long to meet)........premise for Prometheus 3 is set.

Well anything is possible but i do think that Ridley will want to explore where the Engineers came from and who indeed created them and so its off to Paradise...... But yes we have to remember that Shaw would have been able to fix David up enough so he can fly the Juggernaut we saw them leave in at the End of Prometheus and we have to assume that he chooses to put Shaw into Cryo Stasis as we do not know how long this journey would take. Now we know David is deceptive and has his own Agenda and now that Weyland is dead he is essentially free to do what he wishes. He could tell Shaw that the travel to Paradise would take so long that Shaw would need to be put into Cryo-Stasis or else she would simply not survive the journey. Even if the journey would be days, how is Shaw to know? It took them 2 years to get to LV 223 and David could (if its not all ready so) inform her that Paradise is vastly further. With Shaw on Ice, David is then free to do what ever he wants.... If there is Black Goo on board he could experiment on Shaw, and remember Ridley says he is bringing Hell with him, so the Ship is not going to be empty is it? We have to also take note that Weyland Company found a signal from LV 426 which David is aware of but as Shaw and Holloways Star Maps pointed to LV 223 and that there must be some link between Mankind our creation and these Giant beings who left such clues. This is where Weyland wanted to go first, but surely David would have monitored LV 426 signal and surely Weyland would have instructed that should their journey to LV 223 prove fruitless then the next stop is LV 426. After the events of Prometheus David would have some understanding of what went down, he would to a degree understand the Engineers Language both Written and Verbal and we have to assume he could detect that the LV 426 signal is maybe be the same Race as these Engineers and that it indeed seems like some kind of Beacon thats either a SOS or Warning. Either way surely David would be intrigued and if LV 426 is closer than Paradise from LV 223 which we must assume it is (unless its the same place as Paradise) then surely David would be tempted to take a detour there. Maybe Davids Juggernaut is empty, as surely Shaw would not want him to take a ship full of those Bio Weapons, unless she wants them just in case these beings from Paradise take objection to her and Mankind and then she can give them a taste of their own medicine? If thats not the case, then why cant David go to LV 426 and collect a sample or two to take to Paradise with him.... The Question is..... 1) Is Davids Loyalty with Shaw, has he agreed and would stick to a bargain to serve her, because he needs her to fix him and if so can he be trusted to stick to his side of it? Would he be more fascinated in finding out who indeed created these Engineers who created mankind, and uncover more answers to the secrets that this race holds.. 2) Would he still serve Weyland and what Weylands wishes was, maybe he would then proceed to explore LV 426, or maybe he feels he can find more answers on Paradise. And maybe he would want to find out such answers as thats what Weyland would have wanted. 3) Would David still be a servant to Weyland Corp and conduct further research and exploration for the greater of the Company and would that lead him to bring the Juggernaut to Earth (which wont happen due to plot holes) or would he proceed first to LV 426 or carry on to Paradise? 4) Would David be free, free to now pursue what ever Agenda or Goal he has in mind, would that want him to take a look at LV 426 or would he rather go right to Paradise as he knows thats where the Money is.....

AMEN Brother -- no homeworld until 3 -- I agree with all the above except for the fact that Noomi (Shaw) will never trust David with cryo slep or with solo flight - she knows he is a snake and viewed her dreams--- "why would I help you" comment to David at the end of Prometheus etc ---------since we have biomechanoid xenomorphs by Alien ---they resemble the Juggernaut pilots and their hardware from the chair from the LV426 Ship and still have the ferocity and anger like Fifield---- and they are smart and destructive with no sympathy----THEY ARE DESIGNED TO KILL OTHER ORGANISMS AND POPULATIONS-like Smallpox blankets were used on the original population of america. They are avenging demonic angels no doubt --------how (when Ridley wants to diverge Away EVEN MORE) - WILL WE EVER HAVE AN ANSWER-NOT UNLESS A FAN WRITES THE MOVIE - but indeed no homeworld until P3 ")

I think that, with Weyland dead, David no longer has an agenda of any kind. He was aware that the things Weyland had him do were immoral and I think he's glad to be free of it. I think he will be become Shaw's ally. If Shaw can't trust David, you're going to have problems from a story telling point of view.

David can not be trusted under any circumstances. David much like Bishop in the original Alien admires the Engineers; or at the very least, he hates humanity so much that he is eager to start a chain of events that might well bring about the end of humanity (i.e. release the Aliens). For those eager for answers I've thought an interesting addition would be that one of the frozen alien races brought out of hibernation might be an Engineer (possibly a female one). Her back story would be that the (male) Engineers specifically created her with the hope that she would be the first to give birth to a queen. The end twist of course will be that Elizabeth (the barren woman who cant have children) will be the mother of the first queen, and eventually mother of all Aliens, who come thereafter. From this female Engineer some secrets of the home-world will likely be revealed.

Another thing that's bothered me since first seeing Prometheus 1, am i the only one who finds it very unlike that the Aliens are some sort of weapon? I personally don't think it makes sense that the Engineers would create us and then want to destroy us. I mean seriously their technology has always been light years ahead of our own; and if they wanted us dead, they could have easily done it themselves without much of a problem. I personally like to think of the Aliens as not so much a weapon as much as the Engineers ultimate experiment (that unfortunately got out of control). I find it more likely that the Engineers (being creators of races and species throughout the universe) were trying to create the perfect life form. Their eventual success at this goal proves to be both a good and bad thing. The good of course being that they succeeded, the bad thing of course being that they find that they can't control the very Aliens they created (and are no longer the superior species in the universe).

The xenomorphs are made for delivery to the predator race, as the perfect species to be hunted.

The Xenomporphs for Delivery idea did cross my mind I must admit; but i just don't see the Engineers as servants to anyone. It's not a bad idea, but i think that the producers of Prometheus would be taking a a dangerous direction diverting away from the immediate answers the viewers want (not to mention Predators is a different franchise all together). Still, if you made a prequel to Alien vs. Predator, tying the Engineers into the story-line (a story based on the FIRST hunt on earth between Aliens and Predators) I think you might have something (i.e. During the Engineers first attempt at planting the Aliens species on Earth the Predators intercept and steal the Alien(s) for their own purposes, thus preventing the global spawning, the Engineers had hope for).
