Ceratosaurus vs Therizinosaurus

Episode 1 of Clash of Impossibilities Ceratosaurus vs Therizinosaurus Ceratosaurus This large carnivore was nearly 25 ft long and weighed up to 2 tons. It had some of the biggest teeth compared to overall body size of all the large theropods, nearly 6 inches long! Ceratosaurus was an expert fighter. He had to live with dinosaurs like Stegosaurus and Allosaurus. This dinosaur may have hunted in pairs or trios. With 10 ft arms and 3 ft claws, not many dinosaurs could take on this herbivore. It's possible that Therizinosaurus had feathers. He is unaware of the Ceratosaurus trio stalking him from the trees behind him. Like modern cheetahs, these males formed a "bachelor group." The largest of the three begins to move forward followed by the others. Their splayed toes allow them to walk across the sand easily. The herbivore also has splayed toes. The therizinosaur senses something is wrong. He turns around and as he does, a ceratosaur attacks. He leaps at the plant-eater and lands on it's flank. He bites down on it's back while slashing with his toe claws. The therizinosaur shakes his body and the ceratosaur falls off. Another runs in from the side and bites the herbivore's other flank. The therizinosaur turns to face this new threat and as he does, he swings his short, but powerful, tail and knocks the previous ceratosaur down. He swings his claws at the predator standing in front of him. The ceratosaur backs up to avoid the claws, but is not paying attention to his surroundings. He trips on a log and falls hard. The therizinosaur prepares to slash open the predator, but another ceratosaur attacks. He grabs one of the long arms in his jaws and turns it into a bloody mess. The carnivore does not back away in time though and the therizinosaur swings his other arms and slashes the ceratosaur across the face. Stepping back, the carnivore is bleeding heavily from his cut open nose. The herbivore takes advantage of the predator's distraction and pushes him over. When he's down, the therizinosaur slashes the stomach of the ceratosaur, killing him. The largest of the ceratosaurs begins a new assault. He jumps on the back of the therizinosaur and bites down on his shoulders. Using his hand claws to hold on, he also employs his foot claws. The therizinosaur, weighed down by the ceratosaur, has to lower his neck and head, making him very vulnerable. The ceratosaur that had tripped is now up and attacks. He jumps in and grabs the herbivore's neck, right behind the head. Using his massive teeth, he slashes open the throat and cuts the jugular. The theriznosaur falls. He slowly bleeds out. The ceratosaurs roar in victory. They are not above cannibalism. After they finish the therizinosaur, they will move onto the carcass of the dead Ceratosaurus. He was able to take out one ceratosaur, but could not withstand assault after deadly assault. Next time on Clash of Impossibilities Allosaurus was the king of the Jurassic. He hunted deadly prey like Stegosaurus and Camarasaurus. Triceratops lived with one of the most dangerous carnivores of all time, Tyrannosaurus. Watch as these two survivors go head to head!
