An ENGINEER vs. XENOMORPH scene in Prometheus 2?

In Jon Spaihts' original draft script for Prometheus, entitled Alien: Engineers, there was a scene near the end, where the awoken Engineer equips himself with the chair suit or "Space Jockey" suit as some still like to call it. During this time, there were initially meant to be multiple Aliens (Xenomorphs) of various type and build running throughout both the Juggernaut and the USCSS Prometheus. One scene described the Engineer, in full bio-suit, looking down one of the tunnels of the Juggernaut while a Xenomorph comes at him, but in the altercation, the Engineer shows incredible feats of strength, grabbing the Alien and completely breaking it over his leg after picking it up with ease. The scene was a lot more descriptive and revealed that the Engineer's bio-suits are in fact acid-proof / immune to the Alien's deadly defense mechanism. Now, me personally, I would love to see a scene like this re-created in Prometheus 2. Whether the Engineer wins or loses, I think it's a crucial fight scene which needs to take place, to show the enormous threat the Xenomorph poses. Perhaps the Deacon finds a way to Paradise - perhaps all the Juggernauts on LV-223 are programmed to automatically return to the home world (Paradise) upon initial start-up. So, in theory, the Deacon could find a way to Paradise, following David and Shaw - from there, it could infiltrate whatever remnants of the Engineer race are left - leading to this immense confrontation. There's so many avenues this scene could be lead up to, and feel free to share your ideas on this as well. But I mainly want to know who else thinks this would be a great addition to the Prometheus 2 script, which is currently being written. Let me know below!

Wow. Makes me think about the relation between Engineer and their creation. I read an article that the sequel will be about the other child of Prometheus and the Elder Engineer who will play an important role. One child will grow up and become the Alien. The another child could be the Deacon. I think that the another child is that creature which you see on that picture. http://www.prometheus2-movie.com/media/concept001.jpg That race might be very intelligent. So I really like your idea! If the creature arrives in Paradise and it is grown up, Paradise must be in danger. :)

This could be a good reason the Drednaught was on LV-426? The Xeno was contained & its eggs were sent away with a valiant Engineer who sacrificed himself for the survival of his home planet, or Paradise?

Both children of Prometheus are evil. ^^ They come from the Pandora's Box. (with black liquid in it)

The engineer in Spaihts' script was much bigger and stronger than the ones shown in the movie, and as such he wrote the scene with one breaking a xenomorph. The xeno that emerged from the engineer at the end of the movie will probably be much bigger than any we've seen before, on the level of a T-Rex I believe. This said, how much threat would that pose to modern humans? If we have our weapons and a single aircraft, practically none. Brawn can't really do that much in a war like setting. I don't think the xeno's were ever regarded as a threat by the engineers. This discussion permits us to look at the kind of threat the xenomorph IS meant to pose, and what we see in the first Alien film is more or less the end all example. The xenomorph is threatening when it has surprise, and when its victims are somewhat trapped and defenseless. It is a very powerful beast, even a little intelligent, and it deserves recognition for its survivability (acid for blood, etc.), but it is a factor in the scheme of things like a biological agent or zoo specimen that can get loose and then cause problems. The xenomorph is supposed to come across as a "scary, horrible alien", a truly nasty "monster". The threats posed by the engineers if they are hostile, or by the predators to the extent they are, is infinitely greater because they are advanced thinking, developed races with many times our strength as well as weapons and science. Be scared of the xenomorph if you will, and be warned about them for sure, but be really scared of the mind that wants to use them or something else against you. The overall theme of Prometheus and even Alien, is that there are dangers waiting for us in space, enough so that we might be better off staying home.

Well Lindeloffs draft also had the Engineers as a Taller Race, and i think the idea was for about 12ft tall race, but alas while the 12-15ft Prop they used for the Space Jockey that was intended to be 26ft tall, failed to show that but showed to be in one scene about 20ft and the other 15ft tops.... In Prometheus we have again a failure of scale where the Engineers appear from 9ft in some scenes to 7.5ft in close up scenes... As far as vs a Xeno on Paradise... I am not sure, none of us can be and as this movie has done and comments by Ridley and Lindeloff there is contradiction to clues given then more hints that contradicts more so. By that on one hand Ridley said that they would most likely steer away from Alien Franchise and the Xeno, in Paradise and to me that maybe meant we wont see the Deacon or what becomes of him etc...... But on the other hand, they say that David and Shaw are on the way to Paradise but David is bringing Hell with him, to me this implies that he intends to find the creators of Mankind and Engineers and when he does he plans to unleash Hell on them... Now we all know what purpose the Juggernauts have and maybe David has some Cargo on board he wishes to unleash on the Elders/Engineers? And we know roughly what those Urns contain and did Ridley or Lindeloff not say and ask the question what would happen if you infected a Robot or even God with the stuff in the Urns. And thus i think this is what will happen, they will find these Engineers or last of their kind and creator but ultimately by the end of the Franchise David will unleash their Bio Weapon upon them and thus Ending the Engineers and thus eliminating potential Plot Hole to Alien Universe as far as if and when they find the Engineers homeworld how come we never see any Engineers after in Aliens or Alien 3 etc.

Yeah. With a epic battle in the last scene. A battle between the monsters (Alien and Deacon) and the Engineers. Then we will see the other weapons of this race. This film will be top of sci-fi. Who will survive all this?

I kinda like that they are 7 to 8 feet creatures...kinda makes the gap between the creator and the product closer.... But yep I would liek to see the Engineer thow a fist at some xenomorph and would prefer them winning ... heh ... mayeb some heroic scene or something ^__^

I find it odd that the Engineers did not build in a fail safe. If you have a creature of the danger of the Alien you think they would have made some sort of control. Like a weakness they new of and could exploit if they turned on them. A special chemical that was highly toxic to them, a code in their DNA that put them inert when activated, or so on. If not this is beyond crazy as anyone who works with dangerous creatures will tell you, they can and will turn on you at any time.

Everything said so far about the film would suggest it will be it's own film. Prometheus connecting the two film series, this one going in it's own direction. I don't expect the deacon or any aliens to be involved.
I may work for the company, but im really an OK guy.

I was a dream at last week. When waked up I thought that it was a scene of prometheus 2... :) There was a chamber with a big pool. The pool was full with light-blue liquid biomass. Two female engineers working quickly around the pool. They are trying close the top of pool and protect the biomass. The liquid surface is slowly turn into a black chitin-like substance. Runes and animal symbols appear where the chitin are hard enough. The full chitin shield almost done when suddenly a xenomorph jumps one of the engineers behind. The engineer turns around and see an huge scorpion-like xenomorph. The xeno attack and kill the engineer. The engineer's dead body fall on the semi-finished soft chitin shield and break it through. The body is immersed in biomass. In this moment the other engineer start to run and try to escape, but another xeno attacking she from behind. It looked completely different. Column-like trunk whit lots short legs and tentacles-like arms around it.(I call it flower-alien. :)) The FloAlien pierced through the fleeing engineer's body with a tentacle. The end of tentacle opened like a flower and turned to engineer. The petals covered the engineer's face like a facehugger...
